Congrats to...
Boys State Champs B: Watervliet C: Lake George D: Argyle (Lufkin is amazing!)
Girls State Champs A: Troy
Great for Section 2- What a Saturday!
And Congrats to the boys Troy team, what a great run. JO was incredible and I hope the staff that comes in keeps him- he has the potential to be a star!

Wow, this makes next weekends Federation games at the TUC a 6 or 7 thousand crowd possibility! Usually it's only a few hundred because the local Boys don't usually make it to the Federation round.

Congratulations to all. I spoke with Javion's mother yesterday after the game and they are anxious about the staff changes but are remaining committed to Siena. He seems like a really nice kid. I hope he gets some swag in his college career and the new staff comes with a coach that can really develop a big man!

Hope we can rebuild this team around him. I've always thought it would be great to have a local kid be a major player. Stay with us Javion and let's go places together!

Federation, at least on boys side is only AA, A & B classes............which means only Watervliet is around and I had to add that Albany Academy is in the A Class because of their independent classification they automatically qualifed.................C & D do not have Federation brackets, so Lake George & Argyle are the best in the state!!!!!!!!!

I'm thinking of going to the Troy girls game in the morning, then eat lunch at a nearby bar while watching the Blue Devils smoke Albany, then returning to watch Albany acadamy play in the afternoon. Anyone know if I will have to buy two sets of tickets for that, or will they allow reentry?
