Doubtul - not enough early season ticket renewals! Dont be a hater..LOLO.. now is a new time for Siena basketball a rebirth If Siena makes this move, I'll renew my season tickets tomorrow. If not I'll remain on the "wait and see" path to next season.

If we move I don't expect to see requests for season ticket renewals until the new price point is established.

Love Tony's "Don't be a hater" -where in the H did he get that from my comment. Posting on this board sometimes is like kicking a bee's nest - you don't know how many will sting but you can count on getting stung! Funny.

If we move I don't expect to see requests for season ticket renewals until the new price point is established. That raises an interesting point. Tickets are already being sold for next season. If the price does change, should we be locking them in now?

I went to the bonnie forum and copied a post which I thought was interesting and provides some insight as to why some bonnies might not like Siena joining the A10: ---------------- "I don't think Siena joining is a good thing. While they stunk the joint out this year, they will fire their coach, get another good up and comer, and since they were already spending more than we were on their program as a member of the MAAC and will now make more from the A-10, and since they were already recruiting from the same pool of talent, mark my words when I say they will beging kicking our asses within 5 years and won't look back.
They have a similar school (in better financial condition), a better metro area for recruits who want that, a bigger arena, and they get very good support from the community which will only get bigger as they draw better schools both in and out of conference. It will be rare when we can beat them head to head if they have an equivalent coaching staff, and oor staff hasn't show a penchant for recruiting. I would have blackballed them, but I'm sure its hard when one of their guys sits on our board. To me, the A-10 was our only upstate recruiting advantage. We will want to continue home and home with CC and NU because we might need them to accept us into the MAAC at some point." - unknown author ---------------------------------------------------
I think he is right!!

He is right—over last 30 years Siena has a much better record, our budget is considerably larger and the gap will only grow larger if we go to A10. Truth be told we have a considerably larger “upside” than the Bonnies
Many Bonnie fans do not want us in A10, but I do think Bona administration does. In the long run it will be very good for Bonnies if Siena is in the A10, there posters might not know it yet but they eventually will.
Bonnies have a great history, and they have more than held their own last few years in a unbelievable tough A10, heck they won the tournament last year
I’m not going to worry about it until Siena gets a invite, let’s hope the rumors are true

I don't think we should be talking any smack about St. Bonaventure until we reverse the 5-27 record we have against them :-)
