Since you asked, pomeroy that season you love to bring up with 24 losses was 303. Carm year 1 145, year 2 186, year 3 mid point 287, see the trend? Without playing non conference games last year’s KenPom wasn’t all that accurate… And worth noting that since the first four games, siena’s now 5-2 with two OT losses and three road wins. they’be done this despite losing a North Carolina transfer for the season, not having their leading scorer today, not having their starting center on the road at Yanitelli, etc. But feel free to keep ripping on KenPom numbers when the bottom line is this team is clearly in the mix for the top 5 and potentially even better in the league. We’re grinding with an imperfect team that has been gutted by injuries and now COVID. Your mistake is that you are trying to reason with somebody blinded by hate and not capable to reason like a normal adult.

I understand. 5-6 is the record it doesn't matter how you got there and pomeroy numbers are just one way to gauge teams. I know you're a big Carm guy and you know what those numbers mean. Wink wink.

Only ‘gauge’ that matters is wins and losses. Conference then tournament wins.

Now you are just being a troll- after every win you are sure to get your Debbie downer comments in, please keep them to yourself. way I'll judge for this year, is improvement as year goes on, and a bye. I want to see young guys develop and a team that's fun to watch and root for. You know as well as we do any chance to have good Pomeroy numbers went out door with first 4 games of season

Papa is grumpy because kenpom has his SU team projected to be in the bottom level of the ACC and the ACC is in the bottom level of the Power 6 conferences. Syracuse is playing more like a decent mid major than a power conference team. Nothing to praise in Orangeland so he has to up the trolling in Sienaville. ;-)

It is amazing how one person completely derails each and every post conversation on here. Takes everyone else completely off topic. Good team win by the Saints. As I have being saying all season, there are currently no superstars on this team. It will be different guys each game, depending on match-ups, who will shine and get the Saints the W. To get a win yesterday without 2 of our top 6 players after the longest break in the country was impressive. Keep the W's rolling.

Syracuse 71 7-8 Siena 287 5-6

The first sentence sounds like me but I only try to derail the thread towards the ultra-positive.

And since you mentioned Carm, be sure to mention we won the MAAC reg season Year 1 AND YEAR 2. Why do you just love to tear this team apart yet had ZERO problem with 24 losses? Let me give some multiple choices: A. Something happened when you flunked out B. Miss your butt buddy C. Just jealous because you're so non-competitive D. All of the above Beautiful!

That was a tough, shorthanded, grind it out win. These guys played hard. Way to go Saints!

I wish that Gaines dunk went down. We really need more energetic plays like that, its what the kids (and me) want to see.
