Thanks, but no thanks. My how the Saints fans on here have fallen with the level of player they are willing to accept. Not a college career stat line that I am interested in seeing in a Saints uniform, especially as a retread: www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/gary-harrisjr-1.htmlWish Gary best of luck but brings no value coming to back to Siena. How about his stat line AND watching him play as a Siena freshmen? I still remember him not backing down against anyone the at St Peter’s game and at Rider games come to mind). Was he undisciplined , yes, but fun to watch his blocks and dunks.

I would not be surprised to see him in a D2 or D3 uniform next year where the level of play is more in line with his overall skill set.

He did seem to hang around Tate a lot Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner! I liked him more than most. I thought his insertion to the starting lineup at the midway point was a key move in our great stretch run. He had a ton of potential, and with the right coaching, I think he could be very good. Losing a whole year because of wanting to be close to home, hurts that. I hope he finds a place where he'll get a fair shot like he did at Siena. ps--I had the biggest Iona fan tell me that Harris was the best athlete he'd ever seen in the MAAC. Kid made you jump out of your seat thats for sure, and all as an 18 yo.

Not the least bit impressive. Did you look at the link I provided in my first post here?

i remember seeing Harris in the Monmouth game before the world ended, and he just looked highly impressive out there. Certainly didn't back down from anyone.

He was tough as hell with off the charts athleticism. Yup, he needed to be coached. I thought he had a really nice freshman year. Carm made one change to the lineup, and we took off. Harris for Hein.

Enjoyed watching Harris and wish he stuck around but seems at this point there is no need for him back, especially if we had to burn a scholarship on him for a year while he sits out. Now if he sits out the year and is eligible to play the following year and still hasn't found a home then I'd welcome him back with open arms.

it's a fair point on stats, but i think sometimes situations matter. Joe Burrow was a backup to Haskins (!) at one point. I don't think anyone would have looked at his OSU stats and thought of him as a must get. Again, I just thought he was impressive out on the court as a freshman, so I'd be a fan of taking him back, though an earlier point of having too many of these guys is a good one, in my opinion

his college career stat line. Not the least bit impressive. Did you look at the link I provided in my first post here? Yet somehow he managed to start on a league champ/NCAA bound team as a freshman? Must have been for window dressing.

I just like hearing how bad he was from our fans.

Does anyone really see him as helping Saints compete Against Iona or Monmouth? C-Mon Man! Which stats do you have a problem with? He had a 10.1 PER at Siena as a freshman. That is better than Javian McCollum so far (7.7) and Aidan Carpenter as a freshman last year (7.2) and right in line with Colin Golson (10.2) last year as well. He was a very good freshman in the MAAC and incredibly raw.
