I see that the website only lists Craig. Tobin and Ben must be gone and Craig is minding the shop for now.

I see that the website only lists Craig. Tobin and Ben must be gone and Craig is minding the shop for now. Tyler is also off the list - all show as TBA on the school's directory! Wow, that surprises me. Maybe John's short list and early "conversations" have ID'd Craig as "an assistant that must stay" - Fran had a similar deal at Iowa. Brutal. Mitch wouldn't listen to these guys but as they say, the acorn falls near the tree - so must the axe. I feel really bad for Tobin - he gave up a lot to come help Siena and his family is established in this area.

It's not surprising at all, most schools keep one assistant to run the program. Somebody has to do it and it looks good on their resume.

At a press conference a few minutes ago, John was asked about the three assistants (DBO wasn't specifically mentioned). John said that Craig has been asked to stay on to handle the day-to-day basketball operations until a coach is hired. He said the other assistants are no longer with the program.

Craig wont be retianed either. Surprised he agreed to do it. He'll be looking for a job the day after the new guy is hired.
