If/when he loses his job at GW, maybe Carm could offer him an assistant’s job. 😂 IF JC gets fired, Carm would be on the next flight to DC filling out an application. Watch for openings closer to Boston area where the Mrs is from

They’d never hire another Siena coach. They also wouldn’t hire anyone tied to Lonergan. They also screwed Carm over when Lonergan was fired and made Joseph the interim and not Carm despite Carm having more experience. Carm has a lot of work to do. He’s not going anyplace for a while.

"Siena coach?" He was here one year. Lived in the DC/Virginia area his whole life. I dont think he's labeled as a "Siena coach." If anything he's better known as the former Mt. St Marys coach, where he worked for 6 seasons. Carm has a long history down there, and has clearly proven himself as a HC, so why wouldnt he be a viable candidate at GW?

You don’t hire a guy where you hired the last guy from that you just fired. It doesn’t matter if it’s one year. I don’t think Carm would be interested anyway. He used Fordham to get a raise out of Siena. Unless you’re at a top A10 job the conference is a job killer.

You don’t hire a guy where you hired the last guy from that you just fired. Thats my point. I think GW felt like they were hiring Mt St Marys HC Jamion Cristian, who they had a relationship with already, not Siena HC Jamion Christian who impressed them over all his successful years in Loudonville. Siena was just a temporary 10 month stop on his way back home. Money overrules EVERYTHING, believe it. If that Fordham job was offered, he takes it.

But Carm’s also not getting another bump until he makes the NCAAs either. They shouldn’t ever lose coaches to the A10. Deane, Hewitt and McCaffery and even Orr went to Power jobs.

Iona fans have Siena and Iona going to a revamped A-10. So no reason to accept an a-10 job. ;-)

One of the reasons why Fran went to Iowa, his wife wanted to be closer to her family. Jobs closer to Boston UMass UMass-Lowell Rhode Island Byrant Holy Cross Merrimack Boston area jobs Boston University Northeastern Harvard Boston College We'll see what happens. I think Carm interviews for UMass this year and highly unlikely he gets that job. If Sha wins the MAAC, he should get the UMass job.

I like Carm a lot and want him to be at Siena for a long time but we went 15-14 this year. His career record is very good but he needs that NCAA trip to get serious attention for a bigger job.

He effed up bigly. Could've won at Siena over the four years and then got a BCS job. Oh well.
