Sloan had his limitations but we could absolutely use him right now. We are on to giving Mahala and BK meaningful minutes. Sloan would only help. People seem to conveniently forget that we've only had three player make MAAC all rookie team in the past five years and the two not named Jalen Pickett are routinely dismissed on here as players who would not help the program because they transferred to higher levels and failed.

Prince would have helped us for sure. But it is all about the fit. Sloan only does one thing, and he's only been average (37%) at it in his 2 years on the court. As far as Sloan going higher, I'm not sure there's much of a difference between the top of the MAAC, and the bottom of the A-10.

In terms of the team there might not be much difference between top of the MAAC and bottom of the A10 but it isn't even close in quality of competition. A10 has at least 10 teams better than anyone in the MAAC. I still think there is a huge difference between a 37% Jordan King who needs help to get an open look from 3 and a 37% Sloan Seymour who can shoot over just about anybody and shoot it from anywhere in the halfcourt. Only one forces the defender outside of help position. Sloan drawing that defender out would be absolutely huge for Pickett this year. Now how much he would hurt us in defense and rebounding is obviously the big question but I'd certainly like to have that extra arrow in the quiver.

I got into a few beefs out here when he made the All-Rookie team over Ndefo. I thought it was a crock, even it was our guy making the team. Ndefo does so much more for a team.

And definitely agree that he should not have been All-Rookie team but it reflects the respect that the coaches around the league had for his game.

It really had more to do with the limited frosh talent in the league instead of respect, because if that were the case they totally disrespected Ndefo.....

Nah, they respected Sienas 2nd place finish, not Sloans game. Which is stay 30' from the action and let 'er fly......and avoid all loose balls

At least with Seymour on the wing the opposing team would have to put a bigger man out to cover him which opened up the middle, allowing Pickett and Camper more space to penetrate.this season they were double teamed on many occasions and if not for our big men the offense would have been inept!GO SAINTS!!

Sloan could have helped last night. I wasn't horribly disappointed when he left (altho I didn't appreciate WHEN he left), but at that time we also had Harris and Tate. Things changed a lot since then.

Carey had nine points today as Georgetown knocked off shell-of-its-former-self-thanks-to-injuries #1 seed Villanova in the Big East Tourney.
The team was 23-23 from the FT line
