Since we heading into season, I'll put this preview on main Siena page--BTW one of better ones I've read so far- really hard to predict entire MAAC, We have an HOF coach Pitino at Iona with half a million new players- and the conference as a whole- lost of ton of players from ALL MAAC teams. We know Iona will be good, Monmouth has some talent returning ( although I'm not sold on Rice as coach) Where is KK-- we need his analysis breaking down the MAAC..LOL www.three-man-weave.com/3mw/maac-2021-preview

And apparently we have a helluva team ourselves. Great job by the coaching staff to put it all together. Should be a fun year even if we can only watch on ESPN3. Go Saints!

My only 'quibble' if you want to call it that is 10th place pick for Niagara-- Paulus is a really good coach and he got everything possible out of a Niagara team that didnt really have much talent. I expect them to be better than 10th- maybe mid pack. Siena deservedly should be the favorite- although I dont think its overwhelming favorite. We have our own question marks replacing Elijah and Don. Personally I dont think we have any problems replacing their stats- but Elijah's leadership might be hard to replace. We have a HOF coach 150 miles down the thruway- Iona will basically have a completely new team and style. As for rest of MAAC- so hard to predict, most of the players on ALL MAAC teams either graduated or transferred out. Just hope we get opportunity to watch team play either in person or on TV - should be a fun season!!
