Not sure how much attendance Siena will have if fans are allowed in, Siena has an extremely high pct of "blue hair" fans over age of 70 ( the real high risk group) who probably shouldn't go to games until there is a vaccine.

If there are no fans what is the point of playing at the arena? Better broadcasting opportunities?

Hard to say - unnecessary expenses and back and forth travel from/to campus for sure - might be a small plus to not having opposing teams on campus but that gets diminished if the women play all games on campus plus most visiting teams usually get practice time on the local court - not sure how that is funded if the TUC is used for those practice sessions...on campus makes most sense, IMHO, as there are practice courts in the MAC that could be used by visiting teams and dorm access might be made available for teams if travel necessitates a sleep over - no students on campus and an easily spaced dining facility...TUC makes no sense but in this upside down world, that will probably be the location...

Carm has mentioned he wants future/current recruits to see our home arena. He also said IF the school decided to play at the ARC, he would not host any OOC games. He'd rather go on the road.

I'll admit to silver or white hair, but definitely not blue! The point is well-taken, though, that a lot of folks who go to Siena games are "older", and will have to be careful about venturing out into a crowd, even if physically distanced at the TUC.

I'm also in that "over 70" group but I'm more concerned about what the consequences would be if I went to the games and ended up infecting those I love. That pretty blonde of mine and/or my children and grandchildren. They're all obviously younger then I am and could probably handle it better than I could. Still, I would never forgive myself if I ever infected one of my loved ones.
