I watched a virtually unwatchable game between Monmouth and St. Peter’s tonight. There were fewer than six minutes left in the first half before Monmouth reached double digits in points. 23-16 Stags at the half and a length of their court drive and lay-up with .02 seconds left gave Fairfield a 55-53 winner.
It seems like every time I think I have a sense of what is going to happen, there is a result like tonight’s.

That was Fairfield winning that brutal contest last night not the Peacocks.............this league is a real dumpster fire, looking at best a 15/16 seed at this point with an early exit.......

Monmouth schedule is relatively easy the rest of the way so Siena really needs to rattle off four in a row at home to have a shot at the regular season. Would like at the least to go into Monmouth on March 6th with a shot at the title. And best case we come in winning 8 in a row and have already clinched.

Siena needs to get hot NOW though. The good thing is that Siena has already beaten SPU, Quinny, and Monmouth at least once so the tie breaker situation isn't too bad if they do get hot.

To be tied for first with games at Siena, at Quinnipiac, at Manhattan, at Iona, at St Peter's, and at Fairfield all in the books is a solid spot to be.
