www.foxsports980.com/player/?station=WOFX-AM&program_name=podcast&program_id=Rodgerwyland.xml&mid=22892193-Everything is cool with OD -What Siena's going through not much different than what John Calipari is going through at Kentucky LOL -He has one year on his contract and expects to be back next year. LOL -We're young. We're hurt. LOL -Anything can happen in the tournament LOL Rodger says I'm sure Siena will sit down with Mitch and make sure next year can be a 20 win season. LOL .. Tough situation for Rodger though he's usually a PC guy when it comes to his "friends" (note: not Fran) To be fair finally Pete Iorizzo had the guts to basically admit Mitch was done earlier in the show. Last media lunchon is on Tuesday for Baghdad Buonaguro - 21 days to go

This is the tail end of what we all feared. Mitch is a "lame duck," and is the only guy in the room that doesn't realize he's losing his job in early March. It's sad. The program is in sad shape. This can't end soon enough.
"We're the same as Kentucky!" LOL

LOL it has been like that this whole year, he has clearly lost touch with reality.............Tuesday morning after the MAAC final, he is going to be the ONLY one shocked when he gets the bad news, and likely only publically state that he is very surprised as to the situation!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, Guys, do you really think Mitch doesn't know what's going on? Do you expect him to say "I know I'm done, it's only a matter of a few weeks"? And when D'arg says "We'll evaluate at the end of the season." Do you really expect him to say "Mitch is toast?" They are saying what you would expect them to say publicly.

D'Arg could probably stick to we expect to contend for the MAAC championship (something Siena has not done in three years) and just say no comment in regards to Mitch's status. Tom Huerter had to dance around it on the postgame too. It will be good for everyone involved when this thing is over in three weeks. As far as Mitch goes - he did kind of give a nebulous "yes" when asked if he'll be back. Nobody (not even Baghdad Mitch) is that delusional. I'm just busting chops.

More gems from Mitch ( courtesy of Singelais tweets) some funny stuff..LOL
"We still haven't figured out what offense to run" because players have missed so many games.
"chemistry, turnovers and injuries" contributing to Siena's 6-21 record.
Mitch Buonaguro on his future: "I'm under contract. I have another year left on my contract, and that's the way I'm looking at it."
the teams one through seven in the MAAC could all win the league. It's that good a league." Siena's tied for 8th.
"Why chance even playing (Rakeem Brookins) in the Radford game (on Sun.)?" But then Buonaguro described Brookins as "day to day," depending on how his back feeling.
Good tweet from RobDemovsky( Sports reporter, Green Bay Press-Gazette.)
Was a bad hire. Helped Rollie run @csu_Basketball into the ground
After shot clock and 3 point shot came in Rollie ball didn't win at Nova-UNLV, Clev State FF and Siena- everyone knows that but Rollie and Mitch

Darg can't say it, of course, but Mitch...........well, just look at the stuff he says in post gamers, wow......he is not right, put it this way, if he was a general in the army, he would already have been relieved of his duties!!!!!!!!!

I've heard he is very frustrated and might want out. If so, wish will be granted!

And to address your previous comment, YES, I think he's that delusional to think he'll be back. His comparison to Calipari and Kentucky proves that. He should step down before the MAAC tourney. Beat us to the punch

And hand over $300K??
I certainly hope Siena had some kind of early-out clause in that contract.

Probably only the base...and maybe not all of it. For all we know the last year might not have any guaranteed money at all.
