If Siena would legitimately not be willing to take a chance to go to the Catholic 7 then I see no reason they would go to a revamped A10. The travel would actually be quite similar when you look at the divisions and the C7 will be getting way more TV money. Unfortunately, I voted MAAC cause they seem much better at coming up excuses for why moving to a new conference is a bad idea than they are at actively promoting their program to potential new leagues.

Not every team is being considered for this league. The fact that siena is even in the conversation says something to me. I don't know if the math works but if it does I expect the admin to make the necessary leap. As I said before, the maac is about to become a low major conference with or without siena. It is time to get out.

By time the C7/12 guts the A10 it will be a glorified MAAC! Not at all... sure the A10 (best non-BCS league currently along with the Mountain West) would lose some luster but it would not be a glorified MAAC. You'd have St. Joe's, La Salle, GW, St. Bonnie, VCU (if they didn't go) George Mason potentially... that's a lot better than Canisius, Rider, SPC, Monmouth etc My guess is as long as we show improvement and get back on track we get serious interest and take the A10 offer as a replacement should they invite us.

If there is a way to not capitalize on the conference merry-go-round, Siena will find it.
Count on incompetence and passivity from the admin and you can't be disappointed.
MTS, another poll? You should work for Gallup.

Between Siena, Marist and Quinnipiac we'll be the polling league. We can have the students run polls like this one. Oh, Lord, how did we get here?
