They also made the decision to hire Hewitt, Orr and Fran. Really? You might want to check your facts regarding when Fr. Kevin was appointed President. I was more so talking about the AD but Fr. Kevin was on the Board of Trustees during these hires...

Very true that Paulsen and Toole are looking higher, and I can see Patsos doing a great job here – he’s a good coach that turned around a dreadful program. I still think the ceiling is much higher at Siena than any Patriot league or Northeast Conference job and it would be a pay raise if Siena offers the money Fran made. Patsos would rather coach at Siena than stay with his current school in the Patriot League, so that tells you something. Who knows, maybe Paulsen’s wife influences his decision and wants to live in Loudonville or Toole feels Siena is a great place to be until that really high BCS job opens. He probably needs more on his resume before he can move to a BCS. Maybe there is a name that comes out of nowhere when the job officially opens that we aren’t even thinking of. That’s why the speculation is fun.

The program wrecker is currently 3-8 at home, tonight should be his 9th home loss of the season- he has to be closing in on record for home losses.

Paulsen is a reach. The only way he comes here is if his family (wife) wants to be closer to home. And Siena would have to be willing to pay him the money Fran was getting before he left for Iowa. Is it a lateral move? Well if you look at where Siena is now and where he has Bucknell you'd say yes but I believe Siena has a higher ceiling.
As far as Toole goes... I have to think he would come here if we went after him. Don't see him getting a BCS job or even high level A10 job. Siena from Robert Morris is no lateral move at all. Siena is a much better job than RMU and could triple his salary. Loyola (Patsos) is more of a lateral move than RMU.

Patsos was telling the guys from 1300 am how much he loves Albany - and I guess he is going to tell them again at the half !

If you're going to triple Toole's salary you're going to pay him more than Fran was getting at the end of his tenure. That isn't happening.

Did OD get into it with Mitch? Rumor is they were yelling at each other and Craig Carter had to send OD to the end of the bench for the rest of the second half. Anyone see this?

If Loyola wins conference tourney, BCS may be knocking on Patsos' door...you think?

If Loyola wins conference tourney, BCS may be knocking on Patsos' door...you think? Doubtful, especially if they exit in the first round. He's a career .500 coach. Plus, they tend to pick ones that beat their own... Patsos only has one "BCS" win in 9 years, and that was against a Siena-like Indiana team.
