Will throw this name out here. Boo Boo Buie. In Final year of Prep school and commited to Northwestern. Think he’s out of there in 2 years and looks to come back to the area. Carm is close with Talor who is still in the area and was a kid Patsos was recruiting while he was at Troy and attended 8-12 games Wow - high water mark in JP's career - hard to imagine him actually making the effort to go see/recruit a kid in 8-12 games even it was only across the river - on the other hand, it was easy stop on his return at HJ's downtown watering hole - Buie attendee 8-12 of our games and sat behind Siena bench. Patsos was all over the place recruiting him and sparatic. All over him one minute, wouldn’t speak to the kid for a month.

He must have thought he already was on the team.....that's about the way it was.

Scott Hitchon Is averaging 7 points and 3 rebounds per game starting for Canisus as a Sophmore. Was a bouncy 6’8 forward from Canada

Anthony Lamb has taken his beastliness to a whole other level. Averaging 21.5 PPG 7.3 RPG 2.4 BPG while shooting 58% from 2 point range and 80% from the line. His 33.0 Player Efficiency Rating ranks 7th in the nation. By comparison Pickett's PER is 26.0 which is the highest for Siena since Rossiter's season year of 26.1.

Lamb shows up at Canisius game with his mom - wearing a Siena hat no less.To Jp's credit Siena was on Anthony Lamb very early. They sit right behind Siena bench. Mom gets a load of Jimmy act-- and halfway thru the 2nd half Jimmy calls time out- just to yell and scream at the players, Jimmy is in players face yelling screaming spitting. Lamb's mom turns to Anthony and within earshot of several Siena fans sitting next to them- and say's No way you are playing for that whack job - and that my friends was the end of Siena's recruitment of Anthony Lamb

Program changer. His bench demeanor was a huge problem, and ultimately his downfall. I'm sure Lamb wasnt the only one that turned us down because of it, but he was the most important recruit in JP's 5 years.

Dominick Welch is finally back and playing for the Bonnies. Would have been interesting to see what Welch and Woj would have done at Siena. Those guys don’t leave and Siena be competitive this year in a down MAAC. Ultimately Jimmy didn’t recruit hard enough and coach well enough to win. Had he recruited as hard as he did year 5, he would still be here. Haven’t talked to him in awhile but I think he would say he made his fair share of mistakes. Seems to be happy in his new roles and doing well.

Believe we should all move on, wish him the best in his future endeavors. Best to my knowledge he has never knocked the school. Very professional ethical, actually says a lot of I am correct. Just wasn’t the right hire for the school.
