With all this talent Patsos is recruiting somebody better snatch him up quick before duke hires him. If he takes over for coach K they may never lose another game, although their lunch money may disappear from time to time. ohhhh, somebodys panties are in a bunch! lol

But he's only shooting 35.6% from 3 and we know that stinks! You havent been paying attention. "Elite" is 33.9, so 35.6% is, I dont know, "gold standard?" Do we bring up the GUARDS 3.4 rebounds a game vs .07 for 6'9" SS?? Better not. Or his 3:1 assist:turnover ratio so far?? Lets not. This is a gun fight, and you bought a knife. lol Well if you want me to bring out the big guns I could point out that Wojcik is shooting .339 from the floor overall, that his team has lost to Longwood and been blown out by Hampton, and that the only 3 games they have actually won are the three games he played the least minutes! I could bring all that up but I won't cause we all recognize he could help Siena this year despite those deficiencies. Just like Seymour is.

Likely hasn't fully made the adjustments needed due to the increased altitude...

yet he is closer to home (MN)…………... Yes and I hope he and his team all the best! I consider myself a JH fan and would like to see him thrive. Just pointing out his most recent output.

With all the "misses" in this thread - thought we should look at some of the ones we did land. Included head cases, Low major player and D2 players
Maurice White – Good kid just couldn’t shoot. Went on to play last 2 years in D2 where he was role player
Michael Wolfe- athletic kid, and one I don’t blame Patsos for taking chance- went on to play last 2 years low D1 as a role player
Patrick Cole= cancer and was a good low major player, game never translated “up”
Jimmy Paige- went on to good D2 career- was never a D1 player
Willem Brandwijk- solid D2 player
Nico Clareth – head case, extremely talented. But another cancer in locker room
Kenny Wormely – left Siena went Juco and landed at Hofstra not sure he is even on team avg 4 ppg last season- a clear role player at MM level
Kinnon Larose – Was screwed over by Jimmy ( for walk on Gottfried) transferred to low level D1 one and is sold player at lower level
Cam Gottfried – was beginning of end for me the day Patsos gave Gottfried a scholarship- was clear Cam was Not a D1 player – Patsos actually played him over Kinnon until at Game at Marist when Cam played a huge role in a loss with a disastrous 3 min stretch
Ahsante Shivers- another solid role player – is a LM player at best maybe better suited to D2 . Not sure he has landed anywhere yet Thomas Huerter – enough said here
Jordan Horn – Kid can shoot, but extremely slow, role player at LM school, may have been better served going D2
Christian Bentley – currently avg 9 ppg in Juco- probably a LM player
I could have listed several more that are career role players

Where is the 'bash" just listed players we recruited over last several years and how it went after they left Siena. I mean this isnt "opinion" its facts. I even mentioned Patsos was right with Wolfe, where I clearly stated I didnt fault him for taking chance on Wolfe who clearly had above average athleticism. A wise man once told me if you are going to miss miss big. HJ you are too 'sensitive" with former coach. Were any of the facts incorrect? I could be wrong-- but I doubt it!!
As for players we missed on, I dont dispute that last two head coaches could identify talent, just that they struggled signing that talent ( or their primary targets) so they often had to dip down much lower in level of recruit they eventually signed. I think the results speak for themselves. Again no bash, more or less statement of fact

I don't think this thread should have anything to do with prior coaches. I follow guys like Horn, Penn & Prince (next year), Wojick and Baker because they were or were nearly part of the Siena family. I am also interested to see what former targets are doing at their school of choice. It doesn't mean that the prior coach should still be in Loudonville.
That said, how many times have we read on this board over the years are Bobby Sura or Wally S. almost becoming Saints? There's always going to be a sense of the one that got away.

Jordan Roland a 6'2" guard from Syracuse that transferred from GW, came on a visit, but ended up choosing Northeastern. He's their best player. Was scoring 17 a game while shooting 47% from 3 and 96% from the line.

Will throw this name out here. Boo Boo Buie. In Final year of Prep school and commited to Northwestern. Think he’s out of there in 2 years and looks to come back to the area. Carm is close with Talor who is still in the area and was a kid Patsos was recruiting while he was at Troy and attended 8-12 games
