Saw on Twitter that the "March Madness" twitter is having a voting contest of all the power conferences having a bracket with their best all-time 5 playing other schools best all-time 5. It made me think who would you have as Siena's all-time starting 5?
PG SG SF PF C

I’ve been going to games since the 80’s and have seen them all (players) but I’m keeping it simple and going with:
Ronald M Kenny H Edwin U Alex F Ryan R
As a group the parts just fit. Not gonna break them up. After all this was a top 25 team.

I admittedly do not go back as far as some on this board, so I can only speak to what I have seen
For me it is
PG Doremus Bennerman SG Kenny Hasbrouck (not by much over Dwayne Archbold) SF Edwin Ubiles PF Alex Franklin C Ryan Rossiter
I really think Archbold is extremely underrated. The kid could flat out score the basketball, and improved all around in his time with the Saints. I am biased though, I graduated with him, and was good friends with him in school.

This is why I brought this topic up as we have so many different opinions and some of us have seen so much Siena basketball and players pass through
Ronald Moore Close Mark Brown Kenny Hasbrouck Edwin Ubilies Alex Franklin Ryan Rossiter

So hard to choose 5 so here are 10 and even that's not easy: Brown Bennerman Hasbrouck Robinson Ubiles Faison Franklin Haddox Rossiter Sneizk(sp?) That 10 would be a T O U G H out for all but a very few programs top 5.
It was hard to leave Rick Williams and Dwight Walton off but neither played long enough to know for sure...

I like your selections but instead would take out Haddix & Sniezyk...........I would replace them with Steve McCoy (talk about tough and better than those 2), and likely add Archbald or Bruce Schroeder, again 2 athletes who can score and played bigger than their size much like McCoy..............

I liked McCoy too, but he wasn't better than Terwilliger.

Other than Brown and Bennerman I think the entire thing is age dependent. For those of us that have been around since day one we might have a different perspective than the 20 year fan and definitely different than a 10 year fan....we have had so many that had their own unique talent...Prosper should be the all time assist leader if anyone could catch his bullet passes...

The only names I can think if that absolutely need to be on the all time starting 5 are Marc Brown and Doremus Bennerman, and they both were scoring point guards. Tough place to start. Huge amount of talent piled up beneath those two transcendent type players. If Bennerman wasn't behind Marc for his freshman year, who knows what his numbers might have been.
