Someone found some free WiFi Is that supposed to be funny? Sorry 22 I forgot you think your a moderator. No it was sarcasm. She comes back only when she can steal some free WiFi and then makes negative comments about Siena. She is bitter her very average son didn’t make the nba. Things are really positive and we don’t need to go backward. Ever wonder if the negative vibe she brought to the program was part of the problem the past 5 years? She is bad karma and if you don’t like that I call it out - we’ll tough noogiea.

No. It's the same strength and conditioning coach that's been there. He's just being used by the staff for once and in the right way. Camper looked really good, hope the workouts payoff Its the school policy that there is one trainer for all sports. That is life in LM college atletics. The trainer before this one did a great job. He was able to adjust his workouts based on the sport and each individual athlete. It dropped off after he left. Not sure which school you are referring to - Siena has a staff of 5 "trainers" - Hammer is Head Athletic Trainer and has a staff of 4 assistant trainers. Siena also has a Strength and Conditioning Staff of two augmented with a sports psychology/sports performance advisor. I believe your post was directed at the strength and conditioning position, not at the training position. Not sure what you were trying to say with the "he was able to adjust his workouts based on the sport and each individual athlete" as there were/are no restrictions imposed by the school on how a training program is conducted. In fact, the school has made significant strides to further improve the strength and conditioning aspect with the completion of the new addition to the ARC. Based on my experience, each head coach usually has/brings a training philosophy - you can no doubt see that JC has a conditioning focus that has not been seen at the school since Fran left.

Yep. Hammer is the athletic trainer and Ian Farrell is the strength and conditioning coach For all sports tho...I dont think people get that part. I was surprised when I found out. See my previous post. I am not surprised that you were surprised...

Call out whatever or whoever you want. The “free WiFi” dig (which you’ve made twice now) was unnecessary and classless. I get the point, and there was no need to make. And I don’t agree that Lavon was “very average”. Lavon was/is a very good player, who does a lot of things really well on the floor. Maybe with different coaching, and some more maturity, he would have had a more exceptional career at Siena.

Why do people keep grinding on the past. It's over for good or for ill. Let's look to the future with hope and focus on what we can do to bring success. The person who keeps looking what he/she could have done instead of what they should be doing now are not going to progress.

I just can’t stand the constant digs on Siena after they gave someone a $250k scholarship. That’s all

If 1400 pts and 600+ rbds is average then we need more average players like him.

was almost going to get into evaluating long. Not going to bother the past is the past.
The one thing about any of the prior 4 to 8 years that I will say is. The record says everything.
Time to look forward.

Time to look forward. The record is what it is. There is no disputing that. But that doesn't necessarily speak to the talents/abilities of any of the individual players. Some of those guys will likely end up in the school's Hall of Fame. And yes, let's look forward.
