It's a smart move when you are high profile. I'm not sure Turgeon will ever impact Kevin's career positively. His father may end up with more NCAA wins. Agreed. Michigan was the spot for him. Shocked he didnt go there. Beilein is a far superior coach, and Michigan a much better school. BUT, he definitely needs another year of college to work on his body, and his handle (his only real weakness)

They really are great kids, great family.

Villanova isn't really any farther then Baltimore and Jay Wright would have been worth the extra 45 minutes...just my humble opinion.

I don't think Jay Wright came to Clifton Park did he? I know Beilein did and really wanted Kevin badly. Pretty sure Michigan and Syracuse came in 2nd and 3rd.

never heard that he did but I know Kevin took a visit there during which the players that escorted him (that Ryan - no one can pronounce his last name) thought he was a lock to go there.

NO what i am saying is Philly is not that much farther than Baltimore. I work at major University Hospitals in both places and fly in/out of Baltimore directly and drive a little under an hour to get to Philly.

Driving from Albany, Philidelphia is definitely closer than Baltimore. Can drive to Philli in under 4, and driving to Baltimore takes over 5. Southwest direct to Baltimore is nice though

Huerter expected to stay in the draft and sign an agent. Will probably be mid to late first round pick

He did very very well in Chicago with the physical tests. His interviews could have been a bit better. But he has received some good advice from two people who have known him since he was 6 who are currently in positions to give him that advice. He needs to follow his heart and do what is best for him ...drowning out all the noise. I think he is pretty secure in the first round for sure. and about that agent ...well already in place

I like his game, will translate to the NBA with that length and shooting. He absolutely HAS to get much stronger physically. This is a great opportunity for him to go through the process, get feedback from pro scouts on what he needs to do to get into the NBA. I think as soon as next year, he'll be an end of the 1st round type of kid. hmm..looks like next year is here.....
