What does everyone think about huerter declaring for nba? I’m disappointed because I don’t watch the nba. With him gone, who is the best local player currently on a college team (and at the highest level)?

No chance he leaves. Just testing the water and getting feedback for future.

No chance he leaves. Just testing the water and getting feedback for future. If you're a lottery or first round pick you should leave. If not stay put.

No chance he leaves. Just testing the water and getting feedback for future. This is correct. He has not hired an agent and therefore could return no problem to college ball. Declaring is merely an exercise to get opinions from NBA scouts on your positives and negatives and how much improvement is needed to get up you into that first round when the time comes.

Oh. Okay. Thought by the wording he was done, my bad. No worries! I know your post was not going down the road of negativity!

I like his game, will translate to the NBA with that length and shooting. He absolutely HAS to get much stronger physically. This is a great opportunity for him to go through the process, get feedback from pro scouts on what he needs to do to get into the NBA. I think as soon as next year, he'll be an end of the 1st round type of kid.

He's an NBA player for sure. Needs all 4 years to develop his body and his handle. I'm pretty sure hes a low first round pick when he comes out. (**Guess ESPN has him the 20th pick in the 2019 draft)

There are scouts out there that know him well and will guide him through the process 😉

Both of you have the right take on the purpose of this exercise.

Kevin's also only 19 years old....

With him gone, who is the best local player currently on a college team (and at the highest level)? He is doing what all the high profile underclassmen are doing. The rules were changed to allow them to test the waters. As long as he does not hire an agent he can go back to school.

It's a smart move when you are high profile. I'm not sure Turgeon will ever impact Kevin's career positively. His father may end up with more NCAA wins.
