Keep supporting coaches that lose 20+ games per season (this one has 2 of them) and what do you expect? People with a little competitive spirit demand better. Took over 35 years for the program to compile 3 twenty plus loss seasons. Jimbo gets 2 in five years & not to mention a 17 and a18 loss season as well. #mailingitin Papi thinks that's ok. Who needs to be competitive?

If staying, JP has to clean house. Keep, Penn, Horn, PO, Fisher, Camper, Richard, Friday. Tell the rest they can stay as walk ons or help them find other options.

Tell the rest they can stay as walk ons or help them find other options. why is Friday staying, he doesn't play him now..............Richard wants to be the starting PG (according to PPC), ain't happening with Penn (health of Penn could also be an issue), so he may bolt.............Camper may play a game or 2 and then be stuck on the milk carton for weeks on end never to be seen.............JP is actively recruiting wing & SG (among other spots), Horn may no longer get starter minutes..............Fisher is head cheerleader, should be a captain for his last yr but never get more than 10 minutes a game off the bench...........PO needs to develop in this offseason or we may have seen his zenith already..............oh, and if JP is handing out walking papers, some of his coaches need to be changed as well..............not convinced he makes all the right moves he needs to make, remember he thinks he is ONE player away from getting this program back on the top (who is that talent that is able to deliver that, certainly not anyone at the level he is recruiting at or has a chance to bring in)..................

If and it's a huge If he does stay and make the turnaround that would be magic for this board.

Beyer had 22 losses; Lanier, Mitch and Jimbo all tied for 24 losses. But the tie breaker goes to Jimbo because he also had a 20 loss season in 2014-15. So the Biggest Loser award goes to Patsos.

Curious, let's say JP gets another year, brings in 4 quality recruits and we win 25 games next year. What's the boards position? Still fire him? Keep him around for the last year ('19-'20)?

Keep him around for the last year ('19-'20)? really.........what do you think the answer would be? ?.............that kind of turn around, first would be a miracle, but you are almost asking the impossible...............he would have to DUMP most of his current roster and sell EVERY top recruit he is chasing now, like I threw out in another post (Recruiting 2018 thread), by bringing in the "magnificent 7".............and then doing all of that, he has to coach them to 25 victories............whew, that should be easy, seeing as he has NEVER recruited to that level EVER (not even at Loyola)..................but it is a nice dream to have.................make this simpler for you, and you can appreciate that Mike since you are a very saavy successful businessman.....what is more likely to happen, JP doing what you say or he has a similar dumpster fire type season like this one? ............ one step further, right now, JP thinks he only needs ONE difference maker...........what player that we are recruiting right now that will bring us to the 25 win total? ?..........................this farce has to end sooner rather than later, the coaching incompetency is reaching new heights.............

Fire the guy he’s turned the program into a dumpster fire.

So far....Welch, Johnson, Timberlake, Baker, and Zachery have all visited. They've actually been on campus...which is a big step.
All of them are pretty athletic, and for all of them Siena may very well be their best offer to date for various reasons but they all are guys who are used to playing in highly competitive leagues.
Given the fact that Jimmy likely wouldn't accept a commitment until after the scholarships officially opened up...it's fairly possible that the commitments could come fairly quickly from these guys once the openings are official.
While the lack of offers does raise some redflags...many of these guys have the look...so you'd think at last a couple could be impact players.
It is at least possible that Jimmy parlays a decent 3 or 4 man recruiting class out of this and finds his way to a 5th place finish next year.

What is the probability of that? He hasn’t won 25 in a season in his whole career and he’s going to somehow do that next year?
