Jimmy is obviously not the man for Siena - only question is this year or next year? SoSo is currently 77 wins and 88 loses- and trending downward. Jimmy knew when he took Siena job he had to win, he mentioned it several times the first few years ( along with magical 5 year plan) So should be no surprises on either side

He's already run through a full cycle. No results. What are we supposed to be waiting for?

Google the articles and videos of JP when he accepted the Siena Job in 2013. By his own words and expectations, he has failed miserably at Siena. And then if you really want to get upset read this article April 14, 2016 discussing the 2 year extension he was given and the reasons why: blog.timesunion.com/collegesports/siena-mens-basketball-coach-jimmy-patsos-gets-2-year-contract-extension/22127/So many classic quotes from JP and JD... the best being... "John and I work really well together, and I’m extremely excited about the upcoming season with the team that we have returning and the recruits that will be joining us.” What a MESS! You can't make this crap up!!! PS. And OMG was I wrong in my comments on the article... my how things have changed in a couple of short years....

Time is a luxury long spent, as in some batches of hoped for wine, the barrel has turned and the product is unsellable vinegar.....

Siena men's basketball fans can expect to see head coach Jimmy Patsos, who has three years remaining on his contract, back to lead the struggling Saints next season.
Wunderbar!

where did that come from? If that is an official statement I hope they hired Newcomer/Cannon for the funeral of the program.
