Sick of seeing OD play to the camera after a made shot. Always a step slow on defense. OD is no RR.

Good effort by Siena but poor finish down the stretch. Evan really carried the team in the second half...too bad he didn't have more help.
With this loss Siena is now 4-16 to have a winning season (or at least .500) we must win the next 10 games and the MAAC tournament (13 in a row!) and we would be 17-16. Since it is widely believed Mitch needed a winning season to save his job - the next loss and he will be officially eliminated from posting a winning season.
On to Marist on Sunday.

Yeah I was excited for a minute that we could win...and then I remember the team is coached by Mitch.

Well having a bigger SG helped a great deal. Siena can't be playing two small guards the rest of the year !

"I was very surprised when he fouled out." said Coach B about Trenity, Burdine also said he thought he only had 3 fouls
This is from Andrew Santillo's twitter... are you kidding me? There's being a bad coach and then there's just being embarrassing.

There's being a bad coach and then there's just being embarrassing. Not surprising we have seen these kinds of game management mistakes from Mitch for 3 years. There is a reason why this year will be his 8th straight losing season. Even when the team plays decent- like tonight they usually lose. His chosen style of play-- he puts no pressure on ball at all-- and doesn't attack pressure so no penalty for teams gambling - usually results in other teams getting more shots than Siena- Niagara had 17 more shots tonight--- difference in the game. College basketball is a game of possessions and Mitch B coached teams almost always lose that battle

Usual crap from Baghdad Mitch at the post-game presser. He blamed his assistant coaches for telling him Burdine had 3 fouls instead of 4 fouls thereby keeping him in the game to foul out. He also said Siena is playing good at home. (Memo to Mitch: Siena is 2-7 at home.)

Only one thing I can hear from Mitch that will earn any respect.
"I am just in over my head. I thank Siena for giving me a second chance to prove myself at this demanding job and I am sorry that I just wasn't up to the task. I hope that everyone remembers me for my successes as associate head coach and not my failures of the last few seasons. Thank you for this amazing opportunity to be a part of the Siena family."
