Call me crazy- but I think this is a game Siena might win. Niagara just bitch slapped Siena all over the court in a game that wasn’t as close as final score indicated. Niagara will come in over confident, they are due for a stinker – if Mitch plays his cards right I wouldn’t be surprised to see an upset. At any rate I expect a much closer game. Siena will have to shoot well, to beat Niagara they will probably have to score more than 65 points

No way. JM will not let these kids take this lightly. Not when they have a chance to go 17-1 in conference. They look really good to me Fairfield on the other hand............

IMHO Niagara wont go 17-1 in conference-- my guess is they finish 2nd or 3rd..Iona and Loyola are both better-- even though Niagara beat Loyola by a point on their home court
Fairfield will finish strong - 8 of their last 10 MAAC games are against Siena- SPC Marist and Manhattan

can't see it, purps may not shoot the 3 ball well, but they crash the boards, we have none one that can even hang onto the ball.

Disclaimer –please note I’m not predicting a Siena win—just saying game has all the ingredients of a “trap” game for Niagara. Hell I can’t even say I’d be surprised if Niagara kicks the snot out of us again.. Although I do expect a close game, and we all know Mitch usually loses close games..but hey if its close it will be like a win to Mitch- after all Niagara is good..just ask Mitch

Saints are at home, and Mitch has four whole days to prepare. Siena is 1-3 at home with at least 4 days to prepare (including the last one vs Canisius), let's see what he can do with 5 days.

Fairfield has by far played the toughest schedule in the league to date. I don't think that they are a contender this year, but they are better than their 2-6 MAAC record indicates. They haven't played St. Peter's, Marist, Manhattan or Siena once yet. Huge schedule unbalance. Their MAAC losses have been by 12 (Canisius), 4, 5, 3, 11 (Iona), and 5. They'll likely end up in the 5-7th place, secure in the middle tier of the league. Just need to figure out how to win close games.

We could win this game... any more wins we get will be at home.
I don't see us winning on the road (at Marist, at SPC, at Loyola, at FF, at Iona) at home we have Niagara, Marist, Manhattan, FF, Loyola, BB.. My guess is we finish with 7 wins.
Niagara is good but no way they go 17-1. The only MAAC team to win 17 games was Siena in 2009-2010. The regular season champ this year will probably be 13-5.

Mike you are crazy. We were manhandled at Kessler and it won't matter that we're home. Hope to keep it under 30. We are more battled and worn than at the start of the Buffalo trip, even with Rob and Trenity.

Siena played well but you cant sit back in zone- no ball pressure-- have other team take 17 more shots than you and expect to win. That's always been a problem with Mitch's preferred style -its a LOSER style..oh well another game in the books.. Mitch drops to 2-7 at home..
