Any news during the early signing period? Can we expect any announcements?
Can someone let Jimmy know that it has started?

You hater. He mentioned signing period in two radio interviews earlier this week. Do you really think the "You hater." intro was necessary and added anything at all to your post? What's a 'radio'? I agree maybe a little over the top, but I’m guessing it was used and directed towards what could be interpreted as a somewhat sarcastic “Can someone let Jimmy know that it has started?” comment. Not trying to defend Hankla but simply from my POV the continued criticism (warranted or not) wears on me personally. Let me put it this way for all the highly critical fans. First Siena Basketball is more than my favorite NCAA team, but feels like a family member too. How would others feel if they constantly heard highly, even if accurate/truthful (as others view it) criticism? I’m sure it’d wear on them too. You see, love of family and even sports teams allow some of us to over look some flaws in the person/team because of that love. So, I too take offense many times of critical comments, even if accurate because it won’t stop me from rooting for the team I love. If you’ve tried your best to help your loved one/team and they still have flaws, it’s ok with me; I won’t stop loving/rooting for you. On the other hand if your not my family member or my favorite team, I’d probably join in in the critical if I believed in that cause. But, not when it comes to Siena.

Wojcik is signing early, I believe now we are waiting on Chatman to make a decision. He’s down to 3 schools. I’d assume we are waiting to put out the release that we signed Wojcik until we know either way on Chatman so we only have to make 1 release.

I am the same way, IndianSaint. Common sense tells me, for example, that Ben McAdoo doesn't have what it takes to be successful coaching the football Giants, but my love for the Giants makes me think maybe they knew what they were doing when they hired him, and that maybe this season is an abberation. My love for the Giants makes me think they might be firing the next Bellichek without giving him a proper chance when this season is over. Common sense, of course, says fire him. However, Jimmy has had more time than McAdoo, and results usually speak for themselves. Common sense, again says his time should be up. But because of my love for Siena, I will always root for my alma mater, hoping the haters are wrong, hoping Jimmy starts nailing down great recruits, and coaching up the current players, rather than hoping he loses recruiting battles and games so the school can move on from him. So I look at the new season with some optimism, knowing that there will be bumps along the way...maybe many bumps, but hoping that our players and coaching staff learn from those bumps. Go Saints!!!

Come on everyone understand sarcasm....I am with you I have been a fan for nearly 30 years at this point, it is a tradition within my father and I and that tradition is why I buy and will continue to buy season tickets. My father and I still go to every home game and attend multiple away games every year. This tradition will continue with my kids and hopefully longer than that. But as you are sick of the criticism I am sick of the piss poor coaching and management of this program and as long as I am a paying customer I have every right to have an opinion. Now back to the thread, do we have a legit shot at Chatman? Where will the ship come from?

Hankla - cool it man...not everyone that doesn't bow down to Jimmy or doesn't attend every game make them a "fake fan".
We ALL love this program and want the BEST for it. Why do you think we're all frustrated? We want to see Siena become a great program again. It hasn't happened since 2010.

Reading your posts highly suggests you are hoping for failure to advance your cause. By the way today's T U article indicates that J P 's contract runs through 2020-2021 season.

I want to win every game...period. But I also want what's best for Siena long-term. And contracts meaning nothing in terms of years all about money. Pretty sure Siena owes Jimmy very little to nothing if they make a change after the season.

Anyone know of the 3 schools Chatman is considering I believe It’s Northeastern, Denver, and us. Should be a interesting one. Abe has super strong Minnesota connections so I am fairly confident but we’ll see.

If you had a daughter and really loved here how would you feel if she came home with a real dud?
