how many redshirt seasons has Siena lost to eventual transfer lately? complete and giant waste of resources.

Tis is D' Arg problem, I doubt that D'Arg even makes the decision. JP is probably given green light on this with little to no accountability on how resources are spent. Shows poorly on BOTH D'Arg and JP.

If Wolfe and WB arent developing/developed then that indicates A) lack of player development AND/OR B) Continued mistakes/laziness in recruiting. Wolfe moving on and remaining "undeveloped" indicates mistaken recruiting. I have yet to see a true star in a siena uniform under Patsos. Wright and Nico are as close as it comes... and neither are really the kind of stars we've become accustomed to
Where do you place those two in the midst of:
Rossiter Franklin Ubiles Hasbrouck Jackson Moore OD Jordan Mensah Al Fisher McClinton Mitchell Haddix Karangwa Miller Archbold Knapp Faison Osinski Fields

I would put Wright on that list ahead of Al Fisher for what he did while at Siena. Nico's story is unwritten. He has to be able to stay on the court for two more seasons.

Nico would have been an absolute stud with a Deane, Hewitt or McCaffery reigning him in. There is no question of talent with this kid. He needs to be coached better.

This is not a surprise but very disappointing. By all accounts he's a very nice young man, a good student and rep of the school with tremendous athletic tools. A real head scratcher that JP never found PT for him. Even just some situational play at key times in the game. Oh well...

Agree JP did't chase him out - he froze him out ... sorry to see him go ... I had my Dutch grand-nephew decked out in Siena gear since he was born ... with. 6'10" father and 5'10 mother I was planning his future ... was going to bring him to Siena practice on their next visit to meet Willem ... really thought there would be a role for WB this upcoming season.
