I say absolutely sit him against Fairfield. A fresh Nico joining the fray on Sunday is the only wild card thrown in the mix that would make me think we can knock off Monmouth. If we can't beat Fairfield without Nico then we can't beat Monmouth with him.

That stinks. If it's a bad sprain as previously reported on this board that it was, would not expect to see him at all this weekend, much less on Saturday night.
Hopefully it's not as bad as first thought it might be and that it's the better kind of sprain (high vs. low...or....is it low vs. high ankle sprain?).
Either way, he will probably never be a Nico, but we all know when he is playing with confidence and looking for his shot early in the shot clock or during transition, the Richards kid can put the ball in the hoop in a variety of ways.
It's his time to shine and be a difference maker offensively. Hope he is mentally ready to take advantage of this possible opportunity.
So instead of getting 20 a game "avg" from three guys combined (Nico, Richards and Shivers), now just let's make sure we get at least 16 between Richards and Shivers and Brett and Javion together have to give us at least 4 to 6 more than their combined averages.
That being said, hope the Trainer gets it done and gets a "healthy" Nico on the court this weekend.

Btw nico is reportedly doing better today per the tu. Likely it's not a high ankle sprain because if it was it's curtains for this season.
