Breakfast delivered to their rooms!!! Given a pass after being late last week!!! That was generous and effective....a mulligan...... "We have to do something because everyone on the team is watching"!!! "We did everything right on this trip"!!! No shootaround at Rider - WTF - shootaround was at Monmouth - hope the Broncs are set up for their shootaround at Marist when they come to the TUC. Re the late players - bus should have left on time - it's obvious that the shootaround did nothing to help anyone get their shooting touch tuned for the Broncs Gym. This team has zero cohesion - bunch of kids traveling with a few "adults" who work on the clock while it's everyman for himself during the off time. The more this onion gets peeled back the more it stinks - rotten at the core...

As I stated in another post, the coaching staff is much to young, inexperienced. hence the player development and recruiting. to much to the HC salary not enough to assistants? Obviously their is no respect for the management by the players IE: coach and school. Admin not going to do anything this year, downer, they kept adding years to a contract , what do they get, next year looks horrendous with what's left and coming in. 7 years now of mediocracy and worst, and here is an institution that has everything going for it, makes on wonder who is minding the store. those in charge should start taking some of the business courses offered.

This could be a job for MTS. I am sure he has the cell and social media contacts for every player. He could do back-up wake up calls and badger the players until they are on the bus.

There's an old saying the fish rots/stinks from the head down.
This is a talented starting 5, as good as any in the conference. Biggest issues are; A lack of bench play, suspect coaching/mgmt and the team appears to lack discipline respect and focus which IMO all stems from the top.
Can they pull it together and save the season?

At this point, even if Jimmy turns it around we'd have to mostly sweep the rest of the schedule to have a shot at a reasonable seed in the NCAA. I think Jimmy was under the impression that just getting in was the goal. Oh well. Let's hope for the best and if not, let's hope the admins have the balls and the $$$ to make a change at the end of the year.

If Siena wants a master's program they can start with "Babysitting 101"
I feel shame but I am not sure where to direct it.

Still trying to grasp why our dirty laundry gets shared with local media in such a way as to land the story on page 1 of the TU Sports Page. Is SoSo saying "I don't know what else to do, I give up" and hoping to shame the rebels on the team into shaping up all on their own? Or is it just a CYA to deflect the consistent pattern of a lack of coaching down the stretch of so many winnable games away from his coaching "ability"? The problem, IMO, is not solely due to disciplinary actions of one sort or another - it's lack of preparation FOR OUR NEXT OPPONENT, a total reluctance to make in-game changes when the wheels start coming off, and a complete absence of actions to instill an on and off the floor team concept. Siena does not pay the staff to put the kids on the floor to "figure it out on their own" - if they can't tell time, they have little chance at solving what the other team is throwing at them real-time.

You have to agree with Misspractice here. This has become a complete circus with airing out what is wrong from the inside with the local media. He constantly tries to use the media to embarrass the players or to send a message? How about do that man for man behind closed doors in the locker room.
As many others have said its a top down approach and clearly there has been no winning or teamwork style culture instilled in these assistant coaches and players. Why has there not been an assistant coach that has taken the responsibility for Lavon? To get him places on time. Is it babysitting? yes, but if it meant that we were winning games I dont think that anyone on the outside would be complaining. Being an older team and having the on court ability to go very far clearly the coaches have said it is easier to sit back and watch these kids fail rather than taking it upon themselves to make a difference off the court.
Until this happens we end up with a so-so season with exciting wins at home and road losses that once again put us on the cusp of a maac play in game. But hey, that means that jimmy can book his yearly trip to europe earlier in the year.

In any organization it's about "tone from the top". I do a lot of evaluations of organizations and when you hear blame and lack of accountability you see less then stellar results. Conversely when you have it you generally see more success

Honestly, I think Jimmy calling out Lavon to admit he made a mistake twice in the press conference is the most positive development I have seen from this team all season.

All because the most important thing is getting the W? Unbelievable.

Especially if those 21 year olds were the method of ensuring said W. Yes, that W is the most important thing or at least should be.
