Really excited for this tournament. 3 road games and a home tilt vs Arkansas Pine Bluff. Fantastic job by the staff.

GW - defending NIT Champs, strong program, good early season challenge - good game to have on the schedule. Kansas - Playing a blue blood in arguably the best venue in D1 college hoops - good game to challenge a promising Siena team early in the season. UNC Asheville - Tournament team last year that finished 122 in Kenpom - we finished 123. I like having this team on our schedule. Arkansas Pine Bluff - A terrible program in a terrible RPI-anchoring conference. I hate having this team on our schedule.
As a Siena hoops fan, I'm totally on board playing in a tournament where 3 of the 4 games are desirable. As a Potential Season Ticket Buyer, I hate that the home schedule is filled with the likes of APB.
Thus is the compromise of this situation. I'm leaning towards not having season tickets for the first time in 15 years because of the home slate (but will likely attend the same # of games as last year). Still, I'll enjoy the hell out of watching this Siena team play at the Phog.
Conclusion? Worth it. I save $150 in season ticket money, and get to see Nico yam on some 5 star Jayhawk.

Can we defer on our road games and call Duke to take the Albany slot. That would be so cool.

It was a tournament game. One of the other non-home teams switched with Albany for Duke instead of Penn State.
You can bet that Zach Bye will not be calling that game solo. Homecoming for Rodger.

I might be wrong but I have always been under the impression that R W went to a branch of Penn State not the main school . I caught his replacement at WFOX. the guy is actually nice to his producer Kenny who Rodger constantly denigrated. I also caught a few minutes of Rodger on his new station. It seemed like he had a guy co-hosting the show .Certainly made it a more intelligent show.
