4guysinblazers.com/coach-buonaguro-previews-the-season/5109Mitch and 4guysinblazers continue to target the concerns of this board: One thing is clear. This team will have depth and a lot of options. Although Buonaguro has stated that Anosike will be a focal point, fans can be reassured that the team will have more than one dimension.
“I think just because you say you’re going to get it inside doesn’t mean you are not going to run”, says Buonaguro. “I want to get the ball up the floor. We’ve got players that can do it and were going to do it.”
“There’s also a point in the game were you’ve got to look at your strengths and certainly when you’ve got OD you got to go into him. He’s a guy that’s tough to guard.” That is if anything an understatement when speaking about last season’s nation leading rebounder and double-double machine.
For Buonaguro this years team will have a higher level of versatility. “I think the average basketball person when you say you’re going to get it inside understands it’s important as opposed to, oh nah they’re going to slow it down and play lethargically. I’d rather look at it from my perspective that we can do both pretty well.”

guy played 37 minutes a game and being Siena played zone a lot, he spent like 36 minutes in the paint. I would hope he lead the nation in rebounding. We should see a Siena team more successful but at the same point I expect OD's numbers to take a hit as the pace should be faster with less focus on getting him the ball.
