The past few years it seems we've played a lot of teams with older players (UAlbany, Vermont, Iona to name a few that come to mind). Well next year it appears we will have one of older teams we've had in a long time. Not only senior dominated but older seasoned guys.
Projected starters with age when the season begins:
Wright - 21 Clareth - 19 Long - 22 on 11/30 Ogunyemi - 21 Bisping - 23
Bench:
Joseph 22 on 12/11 Smithen 21 Brandwijk 21 Fisher 20 Wormley 20 Huerter 20 in December Richard 19
Being an older team should hopefully mean something. We have talent, depth and a lot of experience. This is a team full of men. By New Year's day the team will only have two teenagers one being the most talented player (Nico) IMO.

thats a bit misleading. Although age and experience yes... experience as a unit... not really. It will be interesting to see the starting lineup.

Long or Smithen will be the other starter. Lavon might be more effective coming off the bench as the 6th man. He played very well in that role to end the season. As far as for the unit chemistry Wright, Bisping, Long and JO have played together for two years so they should have plenty of experience together.

I think the big question will be whether our 7-10 can step up and give us the level of play that will allow us to maintain leads. Will we have the maturity on our bench to win some of the games we lost this year.

If Wright, Clareth, Bisping, JO, Long, Smithen is our top 6 Then Wormley, WB, Joseph, and Fisher pretty much would round out the playing group. That's already 10. I doubt the frosh are going to be needed much, if at all. So, every single one of them except for Joseph already knows the system.

There will be injury (happens every year), there will be illness (happens every year), there may even be grade issues (rare at Siena) but one thing is certain, nothing is certain (including this post).
