On the Sagarin, Pepperdine (121), Siena (123), Albany (124), and Ohio (130) are the class of the field. NC Greensboro vs Houston Baptist might be the worst game in postseason basketball history.

What a horrible field. Vegas 16 must be loaded. If you aren't happy with this field, check out the CIT field, Fairfield has a decent chance to win it all. As for the Vegas 16 (8?, 4?) they are overdue in announcing their field, if the "best prep" for next year even happens.

Combined the tourneys could produce one solid 16 team field.

Scouting report on Morehead State: nationalsportsrankings.com/index.php?option=com_teamplayer&task=load_magic&magic=9645Saints are currently a 6.5 point favorite. Key players for the Eagles - C. Collins, 6'3 Jr (12 PPG, 2.6 RPG, 3.1 APG, 1.1 Steals, 43 3FG%) X. Moon, 6'2 Jr (10, .485 FG, .415 3FG) B. Arrington, 6'3 Sr (10, 3.4 RPG, 3.2 APG, 1.6 Steals) A. Elechi, 6'8 Sr (9, 5.6, 56.5 FG) M. Dicent, 6'3 So (8, 46%FG) D. Merrero, 6'6 Jr (8, 7.4, 46%) L. Gaines, 6'6 Sr (5.4, 3.1) Siena appears to have a nice advance inside with Lavon, Brett and JO as we have had with most teams this year. Morehead St is a very good shooting team so we will have to defend the perimeter well. Morehead St will play a lot of guys so it will be difficult to wear them down. Hopefully 'Quis is continuing to get better and his shot comes back we need him to make a run in this tournament! Prediction: Saints need to come back strong and bounce back from the MAAC tournament disappointment. I think they get it done at home and win 76-67 to advance to the CBI Quarterfinals next week.

Tennessee Tech (134) Old Dominion (139) Northern Illinois (136) UCSB (98) Oakland (116) Towson (150) Louisiana Tech (121) ETSU (86)

Per the numbers, they were the leading rebounding team in their league... However, the league isn't that great and they're undersized.
They also are the highest rated team in their league per Kenpom.
They force a ton of turnovers (19th most)...so about the same as Manhattan. They shoot the three well, but not often. They only attempt 16 per game...similar to us.
It seems to me that they really rely on points off of turnovers and winning the turnover margin battle.
Their Points Per Shot is only 1.23 (would put them 8th in our league) and their defense other than the steals and rebounding isn't good.
They foul to the tune of 348th in the nation. We could be at the line all day long.
If they rebound well enough to keep that part of the game close and turn us over like crazy, we could lose.
Still, they are facing one of the few teams in the nation that expects to turn it over 20 times and still win.

Siena All Access will have a live feed from the TUC. You need to pay $7.95, however.

What a horrible field. Vegas 16 must be loaded. Not a good field...hopefully it's the last time for a "C" turny for a little while. I'm Still hoping for NCAA next year. I was still holding out hope for NIT, this year, even when everyone explained to me Siena wasn't one of the 50 teams mentioned for the projected NIT.

The D should be better. We really faded defensively down the stretch. We'll have to work on the turnovers. Perhaps the uptick in athleticism helps us be the aggressors and control the tempo better. Plus, of course, having Wright actually run the point again will help too. Get the turnovers down to 12 per game and Siena is almost immediately a championship caliber team.

Most entertaining part of this game will be the banter in the student section:). Lets be honest, not a game that will draw, but students will have plenty of opportunities to show they still are allowed to be a bit immature:).

Just for the hell of it, perhaps Tony can have one of the posters put up a vote to see what sites we like to refer to regarding rip, sos, etc. We can pick one and everyone use the same.
