In today's TU - "Siena and UAlbany Not Done Yet" Fill in the blanks: "________ said he has some players on his team who don't want to play now that the NCAA Tournament is a bust. 'I think 90 percent of them want to keep playing.' ________ said. 'There are a few who don't, but that is the world we live in. (Playing again) will show me who wants it. Let's see how bad you want to play.'" For extra credit: 1) Name another local coach (go back as far as you want) who would say that about their team to the media in a similar situation in any sport? 2) Is it reasonable for a local college to cough up $40,000 to finance a pay per view player tryout game or games to help decide whose ship has sailed? 3) Is it reasonable for a college D1 coach to have to use the media to fire up his team? Discuss - I didn't want to color it with my views I don't have any problem with Jimmy saying that through the media. I have a problem with players that don't want to play, though. Outside of injury, I would expect any competitor to want to keep playing. You realize 90% of 13 is 12 out of 13.

Am I correct with my math?

You would hope so, but if you are on scholarship and haven't gotten any playing time except mop up duty maybe you want to go on spring break and not keep practicing. I'm not concerned about the team buying in to keep on playing.

I seriously doubt it was anyone on the right side of the bench, IMHO anyway. LL wouldn't jump out as he may not even realize there is a potential for another game - demonstrated fact that his attention span at team meetings during the season was lacking - probably in the fully off position since the end of the MAAC season. Considering that mid-term grades came out before the break and given the well known very tough nature of the Creative Arts Program, I wonder if one or more decided to spend time with safety scissors, glue and construction paper rather than going to practice to raise their grades? Can't buy into Bill's theory that the comment/comments came from players who don't play and wouldn't want to continue practice - doubt Jimmy would put enough weight on someone who doesn't play saying they don't want to play now! And to pick up on Bill's math lesson, using his likely source would throw all sixteen players under the bus and 2 out of 16 would be 87.5 or roughly 90%. But then the coach said "a few" - in most books that would be at least three.

Maybe only by invite to PSP members, IS said he already got his. I don't see anything on Ticketmaster or sienasaints.com.

Use the season tickets link on the Siena.com site - need your season ticket id and pin. Tickets are 20 per season ticket seat and a $2 handling fee. I assume the charge will accrue when a game is finalized and I would guess an email will come back at that time telling you to go online to print the ticket(s). I didn't receive a notice from Siena but used KS's alert as notice, .

If you don't know your id or pin, you can use your email address and they will send you a temp password to get on the TUC site and order per mp's instructions.

Again I don't know the players or the number, just my opinion. I didn't read "a few" I read 90%.

Yet another example of the great marketing strategy employed by Siena - I'm guessing they moved the top marketing profs into the Creative Arts Program to attract more than 13 potential students each year.
