I can't wait for English to graduate . Me too but I can't believe we couldn't figure out that they were running the offense exclusively through him in the second half. You knew it was going to happen when he was held in check first half.

Rough game. Marquis clearly still rusty. At least we're finally done seeing English and Williams We say that every year-- they just get two more-- and then suck it up in the ncaas getting theirs. I'm rooting for Monmouth. I'm rooting for two bids from the MAAC, but I don't think it will happen.

Embarrassing performance from a few of our "stars." Long played well again. When he's motivated, he can ball. Was Oliver hurt or just punished?
Tough way to go out. I said it at the beginning of the year: We're a good perimeter player away from winning the league. They just bring kids in droves. McGill (#0) and Proctor (#15) are both freshman that would get major minutes for us, and barely play for them.
Their 2 seniors killed us, and so did the WF transfer. All of them LLLLOOOOOOONNNNGGGGGG

This may not mean much to a Cluess coached team but the Iona seniors' assist ratio this year (English, IW, AR, KA, IM) was monster and will have to be replaced: Going into tonight's game that was 382 assists vs. 215 turnovers...1.78 ratio. The guys remaining were just 127-166. The remaining solid ballhandlers are: Much=46-45 Proctor=34-20 McGill=20-16 Aaron Rountree also improved upon the Laury role with an 86-46 ratio...that will be tough to replace from your forward/center. While Iona will likely never have a negative assist ratio under Cluess...next year the assist ratio will likely be significantly lower unless someone steps up as the stud PG of Machado, Jones, English lore...and he finds the point forward that replaces Laury/Rountree... Casimir will be back. I could see a starters that include Much, Casimir, Washington, McGill, and Proctor...not sure who else but if Cluess stays, he'll get something for sure.

Iona came to win Siena not to lose ... Saints were tentative all night not wanting to make a mistake which led to many of them ... Left ton of points at the foul line in first half indicative of not playing loose

MAAC PRAYING for an Iona win. We get two bids if that happpens. Could be a good opportunity for some revenue normally a 50+ rpi from the Maac doesn't get in but it will be interesting to see if the high profile wins put them over the top. I think Monmouth will win-- more rested and better equpped to handle the Williams/English juggernaut. Iona would be put in a nate Diaz sleeper hold in the ncaas, they always are
