I didn't see an official release that he signed but I figured it was due to the team traveling during signing week. Did he indeed sign?

I'm baffled. .....why? Baffled as to what ... Why did he sign, why did we recruit him or why wasn't it publicized?

Why did we recruit him....he is listed at 5'11 or 6'....165 or 170#....he averaged 11 pts a game and that is as a SG....he does have a decent 3 pt % but we have Kinnon for that....I just don't see the upside. I can't see him as a replacement for Wright. It is almost like another JP favor to someone. I'll admit I am not a JP lover and it is because of things like this.

Couldn't be further from truth- Richards is legitimate D1 player-- think of him as taller Tay Fisher

Well your concerns about him are understandable - given that they are based on incorrect information. For starters he's primarily a pg. His scoring average junior year was over 12 ppg. Lastly he shoots at about 45% from 3, which is outstanding not just decent. He's another ball handler and the deadly perimeter shooter everyone's been asking for. Hence, the Tay Fisher comparisons.

Richards is the replacement for Wright once he graduates if I had to gather- even though he is a bit shorter than Wright. He will get a year to work with Wright and Wormley, and then it's Wormley and Richards offense to steer for the future. It's a good signing by this staff in my opinion.

C'mon Greenblood.. his final 3 were Wright State, Siena and Boston U ..Dipset could have found this out by Google in 2 seconds..BTW if Verbal Commits is to be believed in addition to his final 3 Khalil also had offers from Cleveland state, Towson, George Mason , Cornell , UMBC, Fairfield, UT Martin Point is Richards is far from a "favor"

Well that makes me feel a little better but I still want to see the 'new Jimmy' expand his recruiting outside of Baltimore. There are other hotbeds of youth basketball on the East Coast...and no one needs to google to find them:)

Another kid with reputation of a "shooter"
