So is everyone excited to pay the same amount for season tickets in two years when there is no Albany Cup game included? I'm actually willing to pay even more to drop the Alb game & replace them with any number of higher mid-major to high majors (even if the HMs are the weakest in their conference). I'm probably in the minority though.

perhaps more curious, anyone have any details on what this so-called "tournament" at TUC will be like in that 3rd year? ?...............I mean is it adding Union vs. RPI as part of a local doubleheader or is something BIGGER in the works.................

My thought is you do a 3 day round robin event with 4 teams. Go get Hofstra and Buffalo or someone similar and everyone plays each other culminating with the Siena-Albany game. Then both Albany and Siena give those teams return games the following season. Seems like that is a win-win for everyone. Obviously if they could somehow find a sponsor and get it to be an exempt event then you could make it a much bigger event but that seems unlikely.

Siena tried to do something similar about 7 or 8 years ago but Albany was not willing to participate. If they can work out an exempt event like you propose, it might make the stink of agreeing to play at sefcu more tolerable.

Would think that three games in thee days during the season would be a hard sell to other coaches. May depend on whether it would count as three separate games or not, which it probably would (exempt events are limited by NCAA, but could petition for the exemption). Getting a sponsor to underwrite the expense of bringing in two teams for three days would help, but if there is no sponsor, it becomes an even harder sell. Maybe SEFCU will underwrite the thing............or better yet, HJ!

Sorry to say Misspractice has been banned from Siena board- I have gotten way to many complaints on his attitude, he was warned several times and just couldn't look past fact Jimmy wouldn't let him in practice. Time for MP to move on, the Siena board is not the place for him and his attitude. I' ll consider lifting his ban when next season starts Thank you Jimmy might have gone with this UA deal but ultimately the responsibility falls on the AD. I almost think MP wants Jimmy to fail. While Jimmy hasn't given us the warm fuzzies yet I'm not ready to write him off. Year three is a big year Jimmy knows that. To constantly read the potshots made the board hard to read. Sorry to see Misspractice gone. He's a loyal Siena fan and I found his observations to be enjoyable and reasonable. Yeah, he's soured on Jimmy, but that's a fan's right, especially on a message board. There are many other posters on here whose rants we have to tolerate. I'm sure that, like me and many other posters here, MP does NOT want Jimmy to fail. I hope Jimmy succeeds--and represents himself, the school and the team with dignity and maturity. That's all.

My guess is the tournament never happens and it is really a 1 for 1 deal.

Do you have an in getting tickets to the game at SEFCU or is that where your planning to go to watch the game on TV? I think its going to be very interesting to see how UA distibutes the tickets for this game. By the way UA game tickets cost less than half of what Siena charges for their TUC games and if you're a "senior" I believe the SEFCU tickets go for around $6.00.
