Nico will start at the two next year unless he doesn't work hard. Wormley is a better ball handler and a pure PG-- something Nico is not. Kenny will get 10 min a game backing up Wright. I know you guys are hemming and hawing, afraid to say anything( Like anything we say on this board will put pressure on Nico) but I'll come out and say it, Nico will be a impact player for us next year, kid can play Patsos may pressure him and that can go a couple of ways. I hope you're right.

From what I've seen, yes. If that winds up the case then strong consideration should be given to redshirting Wormley next year and letting Nico and if need be, Oliver, backup Wright. Wormley would have no role if he isn't the best option to backup Wright. The staff is high on Wormley as our back up pg...Nico is a 2 not a pg.

If he's a scoring 2 guard, I don't want him backing up the point. (See Kenny Hasbrouck as a soph)
He is being brought in to fill a specific need ... they need make sure he is as comfortable as possible in that role.

Nico will be a scoring guard, he has a scoring mentality, can get his shot off, good outside shooter and can take you off the bounce. Kenny is not as offensive minded and despite KK’s criticisms has a very good handle, I know for a fact the staff is very high on Kenny, and people I trust in DMV area tell me Kenny will be a very good back up to Quis, he won’t score much, but he can defend like a SOB and can run an offense 10 min a game. I also think that will actual make Quis more effective getting some rest Do not underestimate how much having a few guards that can actually defend will help our overall defense

Having someone that can score, take their man off the bounce and FINISH is critical. Something I'd thought we'd get from Cole but he really couldn't finish, in more ways than one.
Here we go again, I'm excited about next year.

Cole was solid, but he lacked a true outside shot to make the drive all that more effective. Nico is a far superior athlete. If Defenses slack off Nico he can shoot, he shot 40% from 3 in high school. No such thing as a sure thing, but man Nico has me excited , on paper probably the best recruit Siena has landed since OD. In fact the famous on "paper" this incoming freshmen class is best since the Fran days. And lets face it we need a talent infusion badly- return of Brett will help tremendously, Imoh will give us valuable back up time at the 5 and is a rebounder and shot blocking presence

I agre with having a competent back-up PG it will give Marquis badly needed rest which I believe shows at the end of some of our games and make him a better player than he already is.GO SAINTS!!

Clareth forces some things when he doesn't need to. I think with some coaching, his bad habits will improve with regards to shot selection. We KNOW Patsos will teach him when the right time is to shoot a three.
Patsos improved Cole to an extent while he played...I think Clareth has more tools to work with. Patsos is going to make him attack more rather than settle.
He's fiery too. Likes to celebrate and plays with emotion which is both good and bad at times. On this team next year we'll need that. He and Bisping will probably be the most emotional guys on the court of the likely starters. Rest of the team is more soft spoken and Hymes will be gone. Someone is gonna need to make some noise.
