Always good form to base your thoughts on 12% of the game. 8-12 plays into it a bit. Better yet help me out with what couple things happening will make these guys dangerous? What did you think of JO?

I agree with Tony, take us and the points in the first (PIG) game and then factor in NO REST (we seem to need at least two days) and let it ride on the higher seed. Not optimistic at this point but things could change. Jimmy Paige should get more time regardless of the situation - kid is tough, focused and talented and does not have a freshmen's key minute jitters, IMHO. WB must be ill - going from a starter to a non-player makes no obvious sense, especially when we lose JO with 10 minutes to go. Was Maurice doing stats for Cam?

What did you think of JO? 8 boards and 8 or 10 pts in the first half, pretty good half. Would have liked him to get another 6 & 6 in the 2nd. I was very pleased with his (and the team's play). As bad as we turned over the ball and fouled out 3 guys, we were still in a position to possible win this one with 2 minutes left.

How many times this team going to step out of bounds Don't you know, Manhattan's court is smaller than the other MAAC courts. I thought size didn't matter!!!! Remember the old adage - it's not how big you make it, it's how you make it big!!!! Have a safe ride home - will be very, very cold when you arrive at the ball field.

Maurice took off his warm-ups and was ready to come into the game once Rob fouled out.

You asked me what I thought and I told you. He fouled out. So did long and wright. 3 starters fouled out is that supposed to make me think it will make us dangerous come tournament time? What you think a bout all them turnovers? Yep we'll be dangerous.

I'm thinking we'll be OK come late Feb/Mar and committ fewer so we should be the those games as well. We have a chance.

Kids played very hard if not very smart. Many of the fouls were stupid and ticky-tack. One possession game and Evan drives into the trees. Not what a senior should do. The next time we come down the court he fIls to pass to Poole in the corner and instead throws up a jumper from the foul line areas and misses. That was the game. Evan also started jawing early which earned him a T. Again, not smart. As someone noted, we really struggle without Quid. Lavin had a helluva game, but someone needs to get him beyond committing so many silly fouls and trying to play PG.. I'm not sure, but it seemed like every block/charge call was a block. After Sunday's lackluster effort, this was a joy to watch because of the effort and maddening at the same time because we did not value the ball.

The problem is there is no improvement in any category. None. JP & LL career highs plus a solid half from JO and I think 4 or 5 players in double figures (all this against the best pressing team in the MAAC). I'd call that an improvement from the past few games. But, then again I'm the eternal optimist.

it was a fun game to watch-- road game in the end we just didn't have enough, same effort I feel fairly confident we beat Jaspers at TuC
