"While the overall unemployment rate stayed at 6.7 percent, the unemployment rate for 20-24 year-olds increased from 11.9 percent to in February to 12.2 percent in March. For workers ages 16 to 24, the unemployment rate rose marginally to from 14.4 percent in February 14.5 percent." CBS NEWS
At the same time, as millennials have graduated and moved into the working world, the youth unemployment rate has soared. In 2010, the unemployment rate for 16- to 24-year-olds reached an all-time high of 19.6% and as of July 2014, it sat at 13.6%. That's more than double the 6.2% unemployment rate for the entire U.S. population for the same month. finance.yahoo.com/news/millennial-debt-sentence-ever-escape-090048110.html;_ylt=A0LEV2AlQ1VUZPMAqwVXNyoA

What's the big deal? The stock market is up, unemployment is down, and the millennials get to spend a few extra years playing video games at home while they wait for their longer living parents to retire.

Stock market is up because of quantitative easing... I think we are at qe3. The buying power of the dollar as anyone who buys food, clothes etc., is less, a lot less. Unemployment numbers are dishonest as they do not reflect the number of people who left the labor force out of frustration, retired early or applied and obtained social security disability. So stop being naive and rejoin us in the real world. This president has been an unmitigated disaster.

The stock market is up, unemployment is down, and the millennials get to spend a few extra years playing video games at home while they wait for their longer living parents to retire. So are you telling me this is strong economy?! Nothing is wrong?! 1. The reckless money printing by the Federal Reserve .. is the real reason why the stock market is soaring!
2. The U.S. economy created only 142,000 jobs, down from 212,000 in July, indicating the economy significantly slowed since the summer. 3. The official jobless rate is down to 6.1 percent but real unemployment is closer to 18 percent, because one in six adult males between the ages of 25 and 54 have stopped looking for a job! 4. The Congressional Budget Office recently said that the U.S. economy will grow by just 1.5 percent in 2014! And even less in 2015!

PRESIDENT OBAMA and DEMS HAVE NEW TROUBLE:
ABC POLL shows President Obama really hitting the skids - most notably with Hispanics which could cause Democrats big problems tomorrow and in 2016 since big voting block.
Here is thumb nail summary:
*Just 44 percent now see the president favorably, a basic measure of personal popularity - compared with 49 percent in late January and 60 percent at the start of his second term. Half of all adults see him unfavorably, as do 53 percent of likely voters.

im pretty sure Presidents... nearly all, tend to lose favorability as their term wears on. Often because the President is made the focal point of all that is wrong with government directed in part by Congress looking to deflect and redirect.

The favorable demographics - among young people for instance - are now shrinking for Democrats and the playing field between the parties will be leveled for the next few years and into 2016.
" Tonights results refute the assumption that the demographics of the country were trending toward Democrats being the party of the future."
"In all of these, the effect of the charismatic leader - and that began slipping away from the beginning - it's now completely gone. ... I think this is the end of an era for Democrats!
