Wow! Scary. Opened my eyes. When that piece ended & the normal 6 or so additional videos appear, this guy had another in about ABC's 20/20 whitewashing.

I liked it better when I was ignorant.

Some initial reactions to the video (I assume that speaker is the Allen West referenced in the prior post):

First, it is an effective presentation but one that made me feel like I was drinking from a fire hose - hard to follow his train of thought and then verify his interpretation of the readings that whizzed by in a stilted language form. I will go back and check out the sources, etc., as there were many "..." inclusions which indicate missing text. Recall that the Bible says "There is no God!" - the actual quote is "The fool says in his heart. 'There is no God'!"

The inclusion of the edited out of context partial quotes being uttered by our President immediately cast this video as a political message rather than as a public service announcement for lack of a better term. I was viewing it with an open mind that kept reacting in an unfavorable way each time he used President Obama in a way that was, IMO, intended to be a subtle slam rather than as a straight man. Just my opinion - but I did view the entire video and will be printing the PDF text for more research/verification.

The three stages of Jihad flow logically albeit structured over 14 or 15 centuries and I doubt that was even close to the original plan - I think Mohammed was really working on change in his own lifetime but that is just my opinion.

The characterization that the US is in Stage 1 of Jihad was quickly derailed by Mr. West (?) when he then reversed his analysis by saying the muslims in the US were in Stage 0 - totally ignorant! Does that mean there is no threat within our borders? I doubt that. I guess the data in this country didn't fit nicely into his total assessment.

What was lacking was any presentation of ideas/suggestions/actions that should be taken in this country to halt further progress in stage 1 or not to preclude/not allow any morphing into stage 2. Was he thinking we should all of a sudden discard our Constitution and treat Muslims in this country differently?

My own beliefs - Muslims do not appear to value human life. In fact, different sects do not even value the lives of Muslims in other sects - the basis for the current insurgency in Iraq - Sunniis hate Shiites and Kurds, Shiites hate Sunnis and Kurds, Kurds hate Sunniis and Shiites. No unified "Let's give our all for Mohammed regardless of the color of our uniform - Go Jihad!" message or plan of action. The Muslims in this country, be they in Stage 0, 1 or 2, do nothing to correct the so called "teachings of the Koran" promulgated by the Mullahs in other lands.

One thing that was missing from the West (?) video was any mention of the Crusades - Christians marching through the Muslim lands to wipe out non-believers. I think the Crusades were more of a recruiting tool than Mohammed's writings. JMO.
