Lameduck president, so that's really not a surprise. The unbelievable thing for me is that he got elected twice even with his radical views and associations. It's almost over, we will just have to regroup and rebuild when the PW leaves office.

Sorry - But I didn't get that out of this ad or an interview/speech I heard earlier on the news.
The way it comes across to me is that Mitch has been campaigning trying to label her a puppet of Obama. She just wants to come across as her own woman.
I think rather than just parroting the headlines of these sites and pasting the URLs, you do a little thinking for yourself. And this is not coming from a 'lib'.

The way it comes across to me is that Mitch has been campaigning trying to label her a puppet of Obama. She just wants to come across as her own woman. I think rather than just parroting the headlines of these sites and pasting the URLs, you do a little thinking for yourself. And this is not coming from a 'lib'. I read the article and watched the video. She certainly is not aligning herself with Obama or any dems in office- not sure what your point is. I know you consider yourself an objective and reasonable person. I consider myself reasonable and objective as well. You seem to pick on Th24 and use him as a sacrificial lamb to support this position. I don't like it. I think it is cowardly and disingenuous. |

I find it disingenuous of him to merely post links to sites without any thoughts and comments of his own. That's what a vast majority of his posts are and most of them are from Fox. I can watch that on my own. I would prefer to hear his thoughts. And as far as the content of that video and interview, we'll have to agree to disagree. |

Ok..my thoughts on this is simple! Obama is not going to recover from these scandals! And unless there is major screw up by the Republicans..they will win back the senate!

Republicans would be smart (a rare characteristic these days) not to play the blame game on this! Bush's unbudgeted wars and the Republican/Tea Party "cut spending regardless of the 'cost'" mission set the stage for the woefully insufficient level of health care at VA facilities for our veterans! Human greed then contaminated the system with the introduction of wait time statistic based bonus criteria coupled with the reality that added staff (to alleviate the patient load) was not going to materialize.

MP - sorry man, but this isn't a spending problem. Budgets for the VA were up 78% during the Obama admin. This is a management problem. They also weren't necessarily understaffed. One of the VAs (in Florida?) had 3 or 4 cardiac docs that saw a total of 20 patients a week. It is common for private practice docs to see twice that EACH per week. This was just outright lack of accountability. Don't get me wrong...I normally wouldn't ascribe this failure to the president. It is clearly at Shinseki's door step. That said, Obama used this as a campaign hammer leading up to 2008. HE made it an issue. To pretend now that he had no idea is complete and utter bull poop. Obama politicized this back in 2007. He then dropped it like a hot potato once it was no longer politically useful. Well, choke on it now!!!
