While this is not NCAA/MAAC related, the Knicks are putting a D-League franchise in Westchester, NY.
Not sure how they will do in Westchester, but we will see.

Any chance a small 5k-7.5k arena is eventually built to house them, a minor league hockey team and college hoops? If so geographically it could be a spot for future maac tourneys

They will be playing at the 5,000 seat Westchester County Center in White Plains. Some D-league teams play in MAAC-like "arenas". What is the Westchester Community Centrr like?

It is a nice facility. Not a high school gym if that is your question. I went there once to see Manute Bol's professional debut. It was a summer D-league sort of thing back then as well and involved the Knicks and other eastern teams.

Also it is less than three miles from the Knicks practice facility and just off the Bronx river parkway. Convenient for the players and the fans.

Saw a picture of the Westchester County Community Center online.
Is this place in the running for hosting a MAAC tournament?
(Not advocating for it at all...it would be really close to Iona/Manhattan...but the size is ideal for a mid major conference like the MAAC)
