That is a perfect description of the team and that sounds fantastic.

Rumor has it Brady will be walking the tear trail. Where would that leave Big Chief? Brady jobless make Chief sad. Chief remember Brady as little brave. Chief does not want to see Brady scalp on JMU teepee. I hope I'm not the only one who thinks these "Big Chief" posts are offensive, but even if I am, that's fine. They're offensive, borderline racist, and don't have any place on this or any other public forum. Time to grow up, "Chief". The MAAC looks to be a really tough conference this year, without any one, dominant team (though Loyola may have the best chance at that). I think any one of as many as six teams have a legitimate chance to win the regular season title, with the Saints right in the middle of the fight. They have speed, depth, size, and should be an improved shooting team. I'm in the "optimistic" column because of all of that. Question is, with the league as balanced as it should be, will the Saints' overall record show much improvement? Sure hope so, but no league game this season is going to easy. Virtually any team in the league will be capable of beating any other team. I worry that Rahk is one knockdown away from being out for good, or for an extended period. If that happens, we'll have to hope that one or more of the freshmen are ready to go. Defend, rebound and run........Saints finish 21-9!

MAAC powderpuff league. Siena weak sister. Record: 12 - 18 maybe. Mitch leave town.

It's aping the "Last Siena Indian" twitter account, only it's negative and unfunny. With OD being the premiere big man in the league, Siena's front-court should be head-and-shoulders above the rest of the MAAC (no pun intended). We have young, talented guards too, but in a guard-heavy league. Really looking forward to seeing how this team plays this season with so many more options than last year.

Big Chief is trying to influence Ogunyemi into thinking Siena will stink and thus pick JMU. Javion should take a long hard look at the chiefs recruiting practices, because he wasn't always enamored with that aspect of college hoops.

Big Chief wonder how many levels to quote script. Probably more than Siena wins this year. Go Red Foxes! You run strong and fast, like north wind in Troy.

Glen: isn't Martens a RS junior? He may graduate with his class but I don't think that is know yet. I am "optimistiic" but I think the MAAC will be very tough. 12-6 would be awesome!

He may be a RS Jr eligibility wise but I believe he's a Sr academic wise. I think he's on pace to graduate this yr. So he'll have to decide if he wants to play another year (which I'm sure the school will allow/honor) or graduate this summer. I agree. No one knows for sure what he'll do (maybe he doesn't even know yet). I just hope he has a great year and decides to stay for another. I'm sure sitting on the bench, not being able to play, all last year wasn't much fun for him.
