Time to toot my home course..Troy is a terrific layout and tough greens, if you can putt at Troy you can putt anywhere in world. A few years back Troy hosted NYS amateur and the club champion from Bethpage black couldn't break 80. Not a long course by today's standards, very hilly and plays longer than posted yardage. Anyway Golfweek listed Troy as 192( down from 164 year before) best classic course in country ( Only local course to make list)
