One of the best collegiate hockey games I ever watched. Easy to see why Bennett got Coach of the Year. Keep it going - bring home the hardware Saturday night. Go Dutchmen!!!!

I have to admit I watched the 2nd & 3rd periods. It was exciting especially at the end when BC still had a slim chance to tie it up (after it looked like U was going to win easy ).

Go Union! 2,200 student body and not a single athletic scholarship player on the team, and very highly nationally regarded academically. Tough school to get into. Talk about recruiting disadvantages.

Congrats to my alma mater!!! Let's get it. One more Mine too - graduate school. Minnie will be a tough out but the Dutchmen showed what they are made of, especially during the 5 minute major power play kill - unbelievable defense - extremely well coached and focused. |

NCAA basketball tournament- UA, both men and women
CBI- Siena
NCAA Frozen Four- Union
Incredible runs by all teams! This positive recognition will help the Capital District!

Congratulations Union! For the second time in two weeks a Minnesota Gopher hockey team lost the national title game to a small upstate NY school as the Clarkson women's team beat Minnesota for the national D1 title back in March.

Congratulations Dutchmen! Skill and speed beats size big time. Coach of the Year understates it for Bennett - these kids can skate while staying cooler than the ice they are skating on - extremely well prepared and focused. Cinderella is really Prince Valiant; David destroys Goliath! Minnesota's record of NEVER beating and ECAC team remains intact. Little guys can do it - Jimmy should get today's Sports Page framed and hung in the Siena locker room.
