I hate to say this ....and I know guy has been there forever-but a managerial change might be needed! That sport really should be #2. Lacrosse is blowing it away. Can't keep living off John Lannan. Coaches' 45% career winning percentage is nothing to write home about. 45 seasons is a damn good run for that. Time for some new blood. I hardly ever look at this but just noticed the 2 senior captains who have started all the games their entire careers have a combined 1 career homerun. One of them is hitting .161 this year. That can't be a good sign for the program..

Northern college baseball isn't great. The season's too short. Siena would need to invest in new baseball facilities before thinking that staffing changes are the answer.

Maybe Honorary Alumni Derek Jeter can invest some money- we can call the field " The Jeter "

I agree Rossi has to go, they had a chance to win a game at Charleston Southern (which I watched), and his poor decisions (he switched the pitcher when they had the lead in the ninth) cost them a victory against a good Big South School.
I've heard ex players are not fond of him.
Siena will not fire him, they will just wait for him to retire- but Siena hasn't won the MAAC since 1999. But we have reached the MAAC finals in the past two out of the three years.
Don't we want success for this program as we do basketball?
I mean the softball program had its first regular season crown last year, and that program was not good for a long time.
