I asked Ensor yesterday if the tv coverage for the tourney in Albany would return to all the espn networks except espn3 and he said they are contracted with ESPN3 thru 2017. No CBS or MSG coverage. Can we get out of this league soon enough? He said all college basketball would be migrating to ESPN3 in the foreseeable future. But, it will probably be good for attendance. But it doesn't showcase the league around the country.

I don't see why the ESPN deal is such a bad thing. We're talking about a middle of the pack conference so you can't expect all regular season games or all rounds of the tournament to be broadcast live on traditional television. ESPN3 is an outlet to get more MAAC basketball available to the masses at a low cost to the conference. I do think that it's a pain to watch games on a computer so I bought an Apple TV ($99) which connects to any TV with HDMI inputs. The Apple TV has the Watch ESPN app installed on it so I can watch any of the games that ESPN3 offers on my TV (in HD if available). It's nice too because ESPN3 recently started grouping the games by conference so you can access the MAAC channel for easier access to the live game feeds and archived content. www.maacsports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_LANG=C&DB_OEM_ID=17400&ATCLID=209419877

CAA is on NBC Sports network ... (semifinals and championship) Patriot league finals are on CBS Sports network. Both leagues have a bunch of regular season games on those networks too. And the A10 championship game is on CBS - shown on a stand alone window. It really is ridiculous that only the MAAC title game is on ESPN2.

Reason I asked was that they actually have fans in the stands at the TUC, and not like a ghost town that Springfield has given the viewers.
