Canisius beats Fairfield 90-78 after trailing by 7 at the half in Buffalo.

Niagara loses at home to Quinnipiac despite being up 46-33 at the half. Bobcats outscored the Purple Eagles 57-42 in the second half to win 90-88 on a last second three by Umar Shannon. Ike Azotam and Ousmane Drame are like a Big East front line. Wow!

Niagara has lost to Iona at home by 1, to Manhattan at home by 1, Canisius at home by 6 and to Quinnipiac by 2. Top 4 teams in the league by a combined 10 points.

St. Peter's beat Monmouth 61-51

MAAC is very top heavy this year... Iona 15-2, Quinnipiac 14-4 and Manhattan/Canisius both at 13-5.

MAAC tournament is going to be crazy in Springfield. Niagara and Fairfield might be 10th and 11th but they aren't your typical last two bad teams.
