Im not casting a vote for or against Obama but it is a little disturbing the war you are waging here...and I would guess elsewhere against him. You REALLY have a hatred for this President and anyone left of center it would seem from your comments. I say it half joking but.... with a little tinge of serious. You may not intend to come off that way... but as bad as some think I have it out for Hymes... You take this to a whole other level.

His consistent reliance on personal attacks, dodging questiona asked, inability to produce any supporting facts for statements he makes, and his tactic of constantly changing themes when challenged with facts, removes any minute hint of credibility he may ever have had.

I don't think it is a secret that I'm a conservative and I don't think that it is a secret, except to you and MP that Obama is the most liberal president to date. You favor that, I don't. Do I "hate" liberals, progressives, socialists, etc.? I certainly don't agree with the philosophy or ideology, if that is your definition of "hate". Your use of that word is actually an effective tool of the left to try to silence dissent, MP also uses this tactic.

To state that Obama is left of center is an understatement. If that was the case he would be able to work with the Congress just like bubba did.

Regarding the executive orders, I actually always defended the President by saying, "he is the President and he can do it". But when those orders cross the line and they actually change or make law, the right has been violated, along with the checks and balances of our government. Go to congress and do it the right way. This should offend all Americans.

I was also a opponent of Bush and the Patriot Act. An act that requires that people give up a little for the sake of more "safety". A very slippery slope as we are all seeing now.

With regard to the Hymes comparison, Hymes is a kid, the President is a public figure.

Look at the threads I started, most are not about Obama. The liberal conservative thread was started from an article on Gillibrand.

I take the Fox report with as much salt as others. I know what the President has said and I know what Fox & MSNBC has said, but until you give details on the specific order(s) you are concerned about, I am taking your posts with a heavy dose of salt as well. But keep us informed (with unbiased links, as much as possible, to their illegality), because if this President (or any other) is truly bypassing the Constitution (or legal procedures) then we should all know about it.

As of now, Obama has not used the power of the pen any more than his predecessors (at least in the last 100 years).

Okay mister objectivity, stop playing the diplomat and no one appointed you the moderator. Orders are to regulate and clarify, not to change the law itself. Read the order. It's not the number of orders that is relevant, it is the content.

Fox is just as credible as the nyt or CNN .

First, I'll take the compliment I'm not just jumping on any bandwagon blindly. I have many issues with trhis president but I am not going to make new ones up for the hell of it. That's weak. And I have no intention of being a moderator, just looking for some facts of which you have provided little.

Understood it not the volume, but what specific order are you referring to? If we're going to debate, let's debate facts and not accusations. If something specific is wrong lay it out.

And I did not discredit Fox anymore than NYT or CNN. I said I take them all with a grain of salt. Facts please, preferably with an objective link.
