the best part of this story is that it doesnt sound like a kid who is leaning toward leaving or giving up on hoop. Ogunyemi is going to be fine for Siena. Bigs take longer to develop. He was a true freshman when many bigs come in to D1 after prepping etc. Bisping's rookie year wasnt exactly a bed of roses.

He was a true freshman when many bigs come in to D1 after prepping etc. Bisping's rookie year wasnt exactly a bed of roses. Don't forget, in Bisping's first year we had a different gardener and landscaping crew!

I still think JO is going to end up being the best big man on Siena's current roster. He's had a rough start due to his personal situation and an injury that set him back. But he's going to be a good one. Some of the best big men in Siena's history such as OD and Rossiter didn't do a whole lot their first season either. If the staff can land Willem Brandwijk after his upcoming official visit, the team should be set in the frontcourt for years to come.
