I'd like to see 10-10 and would be happy with that.. we have a decent shot of getting to 11-9 and again pretty much have to beat FF on road this weekend .. Upsets can and do happen.. but against the better teams Canisius Iona and Manhattan) siena is 0-4-- and took an ass kicking in 3 of them on road. We are a player or two ( and a years experience) from competing night in and night out vs top teams in MAAC

I know 5th is better than 6th, but I believe with the new configuration of the MAAC tournament because we have an odd number of teams, 6th might be more beneficial seed. I will defer to a tournament guru who tried to explain this to me recently, however, I was .....well....imbibing to cope with the loss to Iona!

Take 3 more road games and 12-8 is in the bag. I really feel like an 8 game winning streak could be in the works.

I hope you are right $cott but it will be tough...playing a lot of frosh you just never know who's going to show up. I agree though I don't see a game that we can't win if we play well but no game will be automatic either.

Honestly, there are 5 teams that stink in this league this year, in no particular order --- St. Peter's, Marist, Niagara, Fairfield and Rider. Yes, Rider stinks, as usual. There are 4 good teams, nothing special about any of them--- Canisius, Iona, Manhattan, and Quinnipiac. It remains to be seen whether Siena stinks or is good -- it is up to them.

I am with you here 12-8 was my preseason prediction and we are on path to get that done.

We could Scott-- MAAC teams are not going to be confused with Syracuse ..but reality is Siena isn’t that good a team- we are rebuilding mode and we are 2 or 3 players short from competing vs top of MAAC- so can we beat Manhattan- Canisius and Quinny at home ? Certainly – we would be doing well winning 2 out of 3—and 1 out of 3 is a definite possibility – Look no further than Siena 0-4 record vs Gals- Jaspers and Griffs. and Quinny will be tough match up for us. Big reason is its hard to play zone against them – truth is we don’t have enough talent to defend them man to man – so sure if those teams come in shoot lousy we can beat them, if they shoot well we are screwed- we are not going to win an offensive “shootout” We are not that far off- and with a year’s experience and addition of Patrick Cole things will improve. But make no mistake about it- we still need shooters preferably shooters that play the 1 and 2—and a big that can shoot ( or Wolfe develops) In short dont put too much pressure on Saints. Enjoy watching Freshmen develop and cheer them on-- next year will be "our" year
